Don't understand when Pak army start using armed drones or surveillance drones. It cheap and excellent in the precision strike, with extremely low collateral damage. Seems attack helicopters from US facing the parts issue and remaining deployed along Indian and Kashmir border. Turkish can't move an inch without US approve engines.

You need to have 100% credible intelligence information for a potential strike on militants and their hideouts else you end up like Kabul drone attack type situation killing innocent people. US has the best militarily satellite technology to back their attacks or make decisions in advance yet most of their drone strikes have resulted in non militants casualities. Pakistan doesn't enjoy that capability so it is easier to say to use the drone tech rather than use it in real world scenerio.

There seems to be confused policy in between the Govt and the militarily establishment over Waziristan.

I for some how believe that PTI Govt is against any such operation while Army is desperate to conduct one. Few months ago, Govt happily announced that, Waziristan will now be getting 3G/4G network.

And just couple of days back, general amnesty was offered to TTP by the Govt again, if they leave militancy. Clearly with better cellular tech in Waziristan has resulted in more militants attacks in whole Waziristan region which Army has realised it and wants to make a move but somehow they are not doing it so, perhaps because of PM reluctance.

Bhai plz don't blame each other.

I think pushtoons have not seen any valuable progress around them so they don't understand material development.
If Taliban and Pakistan can bring development in their respective areas and propagate among common people of the region this will motivate them to work forgetting their ethnicity problems.

But I am optimistic about it that development is bound to come in our region because China's rise in region will urge the region's leaders to sit and think about their people.pakistan has already made plans to bypass Afghanistan to reach central Asia.
Good times ahead.my professor once told us in class that its only three or four years when Pakistan will start rising because regional situation will compell them to rise.

Nearly 24 hours since this news came, no update or information of any military operations, rather denials from several OSINTs.
Either the Army got them good, or nothing meaningful has happened.
