As far as Pakistan's ability to dominate Central Asia, Iran or West Asia it is a pipe dream given the current piss poor state of Pakistan. For starters Iran can checkmate any aggressive move by Pakistan by allying itself with India. We saw what happened when a local power like Saddam's Iraq tried to gobble up Kuwait.

If Pakistan nuked Iran India still wouldnt do jackshit against Pakistan, Infact 99% of the world would support Pakistan nuking Iran then taking Tehran...90% of the worlds religious conflict from syria, yemen, etc would all be over.

You dont need money to take a country, just will power... the arabs who took over persia are testament to that.

All the Turkic central Asian states are pro-Pakistan and in Pakistan influence sphere. It is not isolated as you may assume and on the contrary. Irans influence is in Iraq and it is a contested influence. Pakistan has even influence in the gulf, Turkey, and beyond all the way to the atlantic ocean across the magreeb and also in the Balkan and Caucaus. Including South asia and east asia and to Africa. They are not isolated and even sanctions won't work against them due to having numerous potential allies acros the globe and friends. Sanctions would be merely but a name. In order to understand a countries potential and geopolitics you have to look beyond and far.

Pakistan won't even need to engage Iran it's central asian turkic states could do the job. The military capability is improved and improving with Turkish influence.

In fact if you look at Pakistan's allies they could fight a World war 3 and win. There potential is there. If you look to the south east asia you have Malaysia and Indonesia with large populations and capability. If you go to the Magreeb you have emerging countries in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisa and Egypt. As for India Bangladesh could flank them from the east.

With Turkey active in the European theatre with it's Turkic central asian nations.

Of course and I would never want it to ever come to that, but its just the reality that if it were to happen Pakistan could just use nukes and send 10,000 troops to secure Tehran and the rest of the world wouldnt be able to do anything about it.

Well, depends. I don't think they are weak per se. It depends to which countries you compare them to. In fact given their size , S. Korea punches wayyyyyy above their weight compared to any other country I can think of out there , maybe only Israel will compare in this aspect. In fact S.Korea is one of the most advanced countries on earth. So to say they are weak is stretching things Abit to far.
