No they use SMG term for AK 47. They are basically looking for Assault Rifles in 7.62 X 39 and 7.62 X 51 category.

As per new tender

LASER Designator is being purchased by FC KPK meaning now FC KPK can mark airstrike targets for PAF, a very bad news for Afghans
