Kyodo quotes JCG saying Chinese ship lowered drilling device today in waters within #Japan EEZ.

Is this some kind of message that China will drill oil/gas from Japan's EEZ (exclusive economic zone) without their consent??

If so, this is pretty risky business... I doubt Japan would stand for that.
