Huis (Chinese Muslims have totally been Hanised, except that they don't eat pig) and so they will toe the Han Chinese order. All Muslim govt officials of China will toe the Han Chinese line.

Therefore, being a Muslim does not make anything authentic.

China's media, of course, being State controlled, will trot out the CCP lines and hence not worth the candle.

No major ones at present. There used to be ULFA but they are negotiating with India and Khalistan movement died decades ago. Nagaland issue seems to have died out. The Kashmiri seperatist movement comes from beyond the borders. All major insurgency movements right now are aimed at either bringing in a change in govt structure in a region or division of the states (eg.Gorkha Land,Telangana) or to bring in a Maoist govt (Naxal movement).

Maturity has nothing to do with national interest...........are you not aware of the US duplicity? they are opportunists. Situation in Xinjiang helps them in creating unrest in China, whose growing influence and economy is worrying US, and by creating problems in muslim majority, Xinjiag they hope to create rift between Pakistan and China relations. Two birds with one stone.

A worried Pakistan reacted by dangling the carrot of playing the role of a "conduit for China to reach out to the Muslim world". The move suggests a possible crackdown by the military, which may be gradually losing confidence over the ability of Xinjiang's local forces to tackle well-trained terrorists flowing in from across the border in Pakistan.
