Wow,the detail are quite astonishing.This one

Bravo.How much time did it take to all this ?
don't know exactly how long. but the project is definitely profitable by attracting tourists from all over the world.
from Baidu: 'Harbin ice making technology in Heilongjiang province is the traditional manual Han art', and apparently 'Manufacturing Skills of Ice Lanterns and Ice Sculptures of Harbin' is an 'Intangible Cultural Heritage' of Harbin.
it's an industry now.

Not sure if there is any official information about this. But I read somewhere that it takes about 15,000 artists and volunteers half a month. Anyway, time is not a problem when the sculpturing process itself is part of the show:enjoy:.

Definitely beautiful! Definitely have to visit next winter break! :-)

@Yizhi ,

You're also a Northerner eh? Buddy I bet you have to put sun block in SHZ eh? We northerners burn when in hot locations! I don't even "tan", I literally get red and bad sunburns... :(...that's why I have to buy lots of sun block if ever I visit GZ, HK, Manila, or even here during summers. Are you the same?
