I have been to Harbin's festivals when I was a child and remembered being absolutely amazed at it. It is hard to believe, but they seem to have gotten even better now.

Harbin is up to the North where the river being to freeze near the end of November and these shows typically starts right before the spring festival (end of January to Mid February depending on the year). So they have about a month of time to prepare them.
