How would you even know? Have you accompanied Iranian special forces on missions?

This equipment is nothing but Kevlar, radio communication equipment, and LCD screen. Literally most of this is off the shelf equipment. Terrorists in Syria have been better equipped than this.

Why wear berets? I get their in a higher command but still why use berets? They can identify you and offer almost no protection.

2. in the response to the ISIS terrorist attack in tehran majlis none of the special force units were as well equipped as this that i can remember, if any unit of sepah/artesh have such good equipment standardised then they are keeping it a good secret for the small minority that have that luxury

2. Specialized Special forces would not be the first responders to an urban terrorist attack. when was the last time you saw a tier one operator or seal team six member show up for a terrorist attack scene?

What you saw was mostly elite police forces and SWAT.

this is excellent news. Iranian commanders need to make wearing body armor a military tradition.

iran just doesn't have a strong tradition for it from top to bottom. Top level officials have always seen it as an unnecessary luxury given irans abundant manpower resources.

Military commanders have seen it likewise, with their preference/priorities being equipment.

and soldiers see it as uncomfortable and 'javad' to wear it apparently..... ? given the pics I have seen of poorly equipped elite Iranian soldiers serving in Syria/Iraq. Either they weren't given proper equipment, or are not being forced to wear it. Either one is a major problem.

this is a very quick fix. around the time of the world wars, western armies saw the importance of body armor.(especifaclly helmets back then) and it was forced from top down into their militaries. Where as today it is universally seen as essential.
