Hongcun
(Chinese: 宏村; lit. "Hong village") is a village in Yi County in the historical Huizhou region of southern AnhuiProvince, China, near the southwest slope of Mount Huangshan.

The village is arranged in the shape of an ox with the nearby hill (Leigang Hill) interpreted as the head, and two trees standing on it as the horns. Four bridges across the Jiyin stream can be seen as the legs whilst the houses of the village form the body. Inside the “body”, the Jiyin stream represents the intestines and various lakes such as the “South Lake” (Nanhu) form the other internal organs.

The architecture and carvings of the approximately 150 residences dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties are said to be among the best of their kind in China. One of the biggest of the residences open to visitors, Chenzhi Hall, also contains a small museum.

Together with Xidi, the village became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.[1][2] Scenes from the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon were filmed on location in Hongcun.

Tenglong Cave
(Chinese: 腾龙洞; literally: "soaring dragon cave") is a cave located 6.8 km (4.2 mi) from Lichuan City, Hubei, China.[1] It is believed to be the longest monomer karst cave system in the world. The cave entrance is 74 m (243 ft) and 64 m (210 ft) wide, leading to 59.8 km (37.2 mi) of passageways.[2] An underground network of streams runs for 16.8 km (10.4 mi) whilst the cave is the source of the Qingjiang River. Year round temperatures underground remain in the 16–18 degrees Celsius range.[2]

To facilitate tourist access to the cave, as well as to the so-called Enshi Grand Canyon Scenic Area (恩施大峡谷景区), the prefectural authorities are considering plans for the construction of a tourist railway, which will link these two popular tourist attractions with a station on the Yichang−Wanzhou Railway (probably, Lichuan).

The Wudang Sect,

sometimes also referred to as the Wu-tang Sect or Wu-Tang Clan, is a fictional martial arts sect mentioned in several works of wuxia fiction. It is commonly featured as one of the leading orthodox sects in the wulin(martial artists' community). It is named after the place it is based, the Wudang Mountains.

The Wudang Sect is featured most prominently in Jin Yong's novels The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saberand The Smiling, Proud Wanderer as a major power in the wulin, usually alongside Shaolin. Liang Yusheng's works also depict Wudang as the leader of all orthodox sects in the wulin. Most of its members are priests who follow Taoist customs and practices in addition to training in martial arts. However, unlike Shaolin's Buddhist monks, Wudang members are allowed to marry and start families. In some wuxia stories, Wudang has female members as well.

The Wudang Mountains
(simplified Chinese: 武当山; traditional Chinese: 武當山; pinyin: Wǔdāng Shān) consist of a small mountain range in the northwestern part of Hubei, China, just south of Shiyan. They are home to a famous complex of Taoist temples and monasteries associated with the god Xuanwu. The Wudang Mountains are renowned for the practice of Tai chi and Taoism as the Taoist counterpart to the Shaolin Monastery,[1] which is affiliated with Chinese Chán Buddhism. The Wudang Mountains are one of the "Four Sacred Mountains of Taoism" in China, an important destination for Taoist pilgrimages.
