Sky is the limit in India-Japan relationship: Shinzo Abe's advisor

Apart from USN, IN will remain the most dominant Navy of IOR. And so it would be India managing the Indian Ocean. Tough luck if you dont like it.

I have told you Indians many times that the Chinese will never allow India to control the Indian Ocean.

Those aircraft carriers, destroyers and SSNs that they are building now will not just be for the Pacific. A proportion of their Navy will have a regular presence in Indian Ocean and they would be very welcome in Pakistan, BD and Sri Lanka.

Stop your wet dreams - you are incapable of controlling the Indian ocean when you have no ability to build your own ships and submarines even.

Next decade Chinese Navy will be making its presence felt in Indian Ocean with its CBGs that are being built at this very moment.

India will never be allowed to have any control of Indian Ocean so stop your wet dreams.
LOL,the delusions of a radical theist! The PLAN first and foremost will secure its own backyard.SCS is its dream. The US,Japanese and korean navies are there to checkmate them.Your beloved US navy will keep the chinese bottled up in their coasts for a long time.Secondly, capital warships require massive military bases specially built and maintained for expeditionary purposes to operate far away from home. Why do you think the US has hundreds of military bases all over the world? Then again the IN can wipe out anything the chinese send in our waters, just as they can wipe out anything we send in theirs.

I dunno in which world you live, but IN has alway been in control of Indian Ocean and the other navies are content with that. With time our iron grip on the Indian Ocean will only expand and consolidate.Anyone opposing us can't expect rescue from anyone bar the USN.But then why would the US help China by getting into a fight with India.

We are the Uncontested power in south asia and its water.Wishful thinking and foaming at the mouth isn't gonna change that.

Yes, Zia will replace her.
She will be no different for us. She has already indicated that she has changed her ways with regard to India.

Bangladesh Navy will be an asset to India when either of AL or BNP come to power.

The Jamaatis will never come to power again though.

Good luck with thinking that you will be able to control BD forever.

If we need to use China to eliminate your influence in BD, then so be it.

OK, India is on the same level as China - a country FIVE times richer than you.

No point talking any further.

Talk with facts jamati, not with dreams.
India is building aircraft carriers, destroyers, SSN's as well.

And no, Sri Lanka has not given China a naval base despite your wishes. The Sri Lankan Govt and Premier have both clarified that they have given only commercial rights. They also mentioned clearly that they will not take any step that will be a security threat to India.

Secondly, Bangladesh has also not given any naval base to China. Neither AL nor BNP will do that. China is winning commercial port development bids, not naval bases. AL has also clarified to India that it will never take any step that would jeopardize India in any way.

Thirdly, even Pakistan has till now not given a naval base to China. Gwadar till now is solely a commercial operation. If and when they do give it, it would be a single naval base. Its not even close to putting up a credible presence in Indian Ocean, wet dreams aside.

Heck even Myanmar asked IN to come and check coco Islands where they cleared that they are not giving Chinese any military rights.
Stop your wet dreams - you are incapable of controlling the Indian ocean when you have no ability to build your own ships and submarines even.
We build everything Bangladeshi. The sole reason we give orders to other countries is because all our shipyards are fully booked with naval orders.
We have built our own SSBN, FFG, DDG, Corvettes and are currently building a Carrier which is in advanced stage of construction.

Good luck with thinking that you will be able to control BD forever.

It is apparently clear you have no idea how naval power works. But then madrassah education.

SSBM is not even in service yet and is not an attack submarine. It is more to provide India a nuclear strike capability in case that its land based nuclear weapons are wiped out, rather than sea control/

FFG and DDG - you do not build radars, missiles and engines but import them.

India has never ever put into production even a single submarine yet and talks about controlling Indian Ocean:lol:

Its called an SSBN, jamaati.
We already operate an Akula class SSN as part of our CBG.

The first 3 will be an SSBN, the ones after that will be SSN's.
FFG and DDG - you do not build radars, missiles and engines but import them.
Yes jamaati. We do import radars, missiles and engines. We are substituting foreign equipment for domestically built one slowly. That does not take away from our shipbuilding capabilities. South Korea, Japan, Spain, France, all use equipment built by non native companies.

We are still building destroyers, frigates and corvettes.
India has never ever put into production even a single submarine yet and talks about controlling Indian Ocean:lol:
India is serially producing french Scorpene SSK's. The first one will be rolled out in 2016(ie 2 years from now) with a production rate of one each year.

We are already the second biggest Navy in Indian Ocean. We are the defacto managers of IO because of our naval bases spread over South India, Maldives, Mauritius and Andamans.

And we are the only Navy in South Asia expanding at such a rate. No one else comes close. Our relative capabilities vis-a-vis other countries in the region is growing and rather fast at that.

Good luck with thinking that you will be able to control BD forever.

If we need to use China to eliminate your influence in BD, then so be it.
You said 'we'. Jamaati, there is no 'we' for you. Terrorist jamaatis and razakars are being eliminated from Bangladesh.

Both the national parties of Bangladesh - the AL and BNP support India.

NEW DELHI: The sky is the limit in the India-Japan relationship, a senior Japanese official said today, pinning high hopes on the cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the fields of nuclear energy and defence.

"Japan and India can strengthen their relationship in the realms of foreign policy, economy and regional security in the Indo-Pacific.
"The two countries should collaborate on development cooperation in African nations. Strengthening the defence architecture and nuclear energy are other areas of convergence," Tomohiko Taniguchi, Special Advisor to the Cabinet of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said.

Addressing a seminar "India's Japan Moment: Leaders Must Capitalise" from Tokyo through videoconferencing, he said, "This is also Japan's India moment. India holds a special place in Prime Minister Abe's mind."

Speaking ahead of the expected Japan visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, "Sky is the limit for the Delhi-Tokyo relationship. India has to be a part of Japan's new narrative in the run-up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics."

He added that since both are mature democracies, it was easier to adhere to international laws.

Taniguchi said that it was not only India's Japan moment, but also Japan's India moment.

The Japanese PM's special advisor added that leaders of both the countries are big names in the international community, but cooperation between the two would make it bigger. Initiatives like East Asia Summit, of which India and Japan are members, have to grow.

"Modi and Abe are big leaders (internationally). But together they can grow higher," he said.

Excuse me, India does not "manage" the Indian Ocean.

Yes we do. Look at the amount of anti-piracy missions that we undertake, the port calls we make, the humanitarian missions we undertake and the CBMs we make with multiple international bodies and associations.

The US Navy could pulverize your whole Navy at any time just by using one of their 11 CBGs.

And why would they want to do that? IOR is international region which has many ships passing through for trade and commerce. USN will on the contrary welcome more contribution against piracy and hi-jacking.

There are two areas of Indian Ocean; one the southern international waters that are managed by US CBGs, and northern waters that touch our shores that is managed by us.

And that is why piracy is limited to where it is limited.

Both Pakistan and BD are building up their Navies so you will have more competition in the future.

Yeah. Keep trying for 'competition'.

Not so fast. Beware of the "moral fits" Japan gets at times. Last time when we exploded nukes.
