They killed 18 and captured 1 and they manage to get in because they were in enemy uniform. Only way they can do that. Past attempts to overwhelm an occupied American base has failed. Never happened before since the war started and won't happen at all.

Every operation, talibans are conducting successfully in your heart and every time your are telling "won't happen at all". Please "DO MORE" to save your souls.

Why am I not so surprised over the lack of interest on this thread, and the ones like it since yesterday. Well lets start,
The american army has been infiltrated by the talibans, sounds familiar.
Afghanistan should be invaded by some some world power because the americans cant even handle their own any more.
American nuclear arsenal is not safe.

So now I wonder what that so called experts on Pakistan have to say.

It would be grossly unfair to not give due vredit to Talibans. Don'tforget this generation of Talibans was conceived,born, raised and tained in a the histories longest war era (1979~2012).

Which is why the US is investing in unmanned tech. These are not really wars anymore, more like policing: doing patrols, finding and destroying banned weapons, etc.

The US has probably eliminated more high ranking terrorists in Pakistan than in Afghan, without any convntional soldiers.

Anyhow the 11 year Afghan conflict has started a dramatic change in war tactics, tehnology, and equipment. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

I think this attack could not have also happened without the help of insiders? Any Afghan Mole in the base? I thank all the ISAF soldiers who saved Prince Harry and Other air assets from further damage.

This is common trend now, to hit more cost assets. They could do this to a NATO base talks a lot about their preparedness. This trend is not a good sign and it means that militants in Pakistan and Afghanistan is getting more sophisticated by the day. Ominous sign.

Also the people who keep blaming India and US for attack in Pakistan, should wake up. US cannot train them to attack themselves.

I suspect that some of the ex Pakistani military officer is helping militants, the reason of this suspicion is because some of them were found involved in similar attacks.
