Six killed in Nowshera bomb blast

PESHAWAR: Six people were killed and 25 were injured in a bomb blast in northwest Pakistan’s Nowshera region on Friday, DawnNews reported.

According to initial information, the blast occurred near a mosque in Nowshera’s Akbarpura area. A shrine was also situated near the mosque.

Rescue workers had reached the site of the explosion and wounded were being shifted to hospitals.

They need to beef up security in KP, specially on Friday. It is easy for the terrorists to hit KP because of the proximity to FATA but this is no excuse.

It is extremely painful to hear about absolutely innocent lives being ruthlessly destroyed for no fault of their own. From the reports it is obvious that very ordinary human beings solely burdened by the problems and cares of an already difficult life were assembled there. Just to say their prayers. This was not a crowd of elite moral degenerates or political idealogues.
