OBOR is a multi-national effort in establishing infrastructure that will facilitate trade relations between [geographically linked] countries across Asia. This is not a new idea actually and neither China can take full credit of this initiative, popular narrative notwithstanding.

Pakistan is doing its best to make CPEC route of OBOR operational but scores of projects in other countries are not picking pace in the manner they should have.

Success of OBOR strongly rest upon collaboration of various Asian countries in the end. China - on its own - can only do so much for others.

US is largely irrelevant in this due to its geography. However, China has extended OBOR invitation to the US.

Goods are always first shipped by road to a port and then loaded on a ship, how do you ship goods from Amritsar to Dubai

Clearly mentioned in Hadiths that they, the people with a particular(pale) color will be ruling the world and with facial features also hinted at in different Hadiths...

‘Pakistan pays only 1 or 2 pc interest on Chinese loans’

Islamabad - It has been reiterated that Pakistan has to pay only 1 or 2 percent interest on concessional loans given by the Chinese government for execution of the CPEC’s related projects.

In case of the investments coming from the Chinese enterprises, the rate of interest is 5 percent or less than that. And even that interest is to be paid to the Chinese Banks by the enterprises themselves, said a spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy here on Sunday while commenting on the media’s reports relating to the interest-rate.

The concessional loans are mainly consumed for infrastructure development. These are also utilized for the energy-related projects. Through the loans and the investment, China is supporting Pakistan’s economy and helping to improve the living-conditions of the people, he added.

The CPEC is a flagship socio-economic development project that is meant to serve all parts of the country across-the-broad through mutual consultation.

But why would cpec ruin any indian dreams?
If their dream is pakistan's economic destruction, then yes those dreams would be crushed. They tried very hard through terrorism too .
But apart from that, it is not going to hurt India, only it can hurt India egos .it can cause jealously.
Just was watching a documentary of Calcutta today. One of the major city of India and was amazed to see such poverty that even I, who belong to Pakistan a 3rd world country, has never seen.
Our cities , if not better than India's, but they are not worse then India's.
Only a genuine leadership can turn the tides for Pakistan. Only a leadership that is acceptable to military and trusted by the people, can change the course of our country. Political stability and a little bit capacity building of law enforcement can solve huge huge problems for Pakistan.
But that doesn't in any sense mean that it is going to hurt India in anyways.
Pakistan would always want India to solve Kashmir and other issues.
Right now they feel they are all too powerful, and don't want to talk or solve the issue. Pretending there is no issue and repeating lies again and again , So that lies started to apear truth is the new Indian strategy.
