Situation in Gwadar

This is what they meant by game changer?

Gwadar is a colonial outpost of GHQ. The locals are completely ignored and treated like shit. These people used to live off of fishing and thier livelyhood is being destroyed by large international trawlers welcomed by the state.

To the bootlickers accusing them of being anti state - they are. When you treat people like shit the state becomes the enemy. @Bleek when they're abusing Azam Swati and Shabaz Gill you were so concerned. Where is that concern for these people? Has the same establishment turned to angels here?

So weak.. Shazia khalid is not even a baloch.she is sindhi.

BLM won't kill a cop likewhat happened in gawadar.

Her r@p3 took place in Balochistan, the response to it as well as the justification of it shows the plight of the Baloch people.

Which cops did they kill in Gwadar? You are changing the goalposts as before you talked about disobeying cops and throwing rocks.

No one justified it and this was a national level news one of the most highlighted rape offenses from past 40 or 50 years.
It was used by bugti to capitalize on his ongoing rift with state eventhough there was no connection. A lot more of such tragedy happens in the country side of "big brother" province where it goes unnoticed.
So in Pakistan there is lawlessness and plight of all communities in general rather than a specific one.The solution is to improve the governance system not do petty politics.

Because they aren't being wronged, there have been many projects to provide them development and opportunities, but instead they decide to instead destroy public infrastructure being built to benefit them, attack locals, set things on fire.

This particular situation predates any political tussle going on, there's not really any real reason they are against the state - they just are.

Say if this was Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore - fair enough there's something wrong hence they are doing this because everything has been fine recently so there has to be a cause.

But in this case it's the same old reasoning that is simply hating the state for no real reason.

What infrastructure exists in Gwadar or Balochistan? Maybe you can just show some. Pictures?

The only thing these protests have shown is that our govt and establishment has learned jacksh!t in the last 30 years.

Listen to them, cater to their grievances. Instead of making a stupid abandoned vanity airport or erecting housing societies or PC, give electricity and water to the locals first.

Stop doing this unless you want BLA and BRA to take advantage of the situation and recruit these young men for their outfits.

There are threads with more information, obviously it's not the best but they are working on providing facilties to locals and it's going to take time

A lot of these locals don't really care about facilities anyway, they just hate the state in general, a bit like those BRA/BLA types.

DHA gwader banana pary ga .
Unironically I think it would be a good idea...

Anyway most people here are ignorant to Balochistan dynamics and its real history, they view it in the lens of Imran Khan/VONC. This is not a temporary issue for them because of a few decisions made by the GHQ, and not similar to a protest in Karachi and Islamabad where ppl disagree with acts by the state. The situation in Balochistan exists since forever and their problem has nothing to do with GHQ or certain policies or developing infrastructure. They just hate the state entirely.

While one group is against certain harmful policies hence protesting, you could give these guys the entire world and build them a Dubai and they will still hate you.

To compare Gwadar to cities like Karachi/Islamabad is wrong. They don't care about politics or GHQ, good or bad, it's just fassad and destruction they want to see.

They have murdered innocent Chinese people, and people from other localities and cheered it on together. Pashtun/Punjabi labourers and teachers, Chinese school teachers.
