The most-latest F-16 block E isn't used by USAF. Does it mean that F-16 block E is bad? No dumbo. It is because the USAF has better planes to suite their doctrine.

If you knew anything about air warfare, you'd know that light combat multi-role aircraft isn't suitable for a force like that of PLA Air Force. Hence Chinese don't use it.

Also, its not only Chinese aircraft...The aircraft was build by China and Pakistan and was mainly designed for Pakistani needs.

Anyways, indonesians don't have a mentionable military. Once they get one, we'll talk.

There is absolutely no place in Singapore for tanking training. If Singapore is invaded, ever, by anyone, it would be from sea and air, and tanks are pretty useless. I think the Singaporean government is really just looking for ways to spend the defense budget given to them.

I remember seeing Singaporean marines charging into the beautiful ocean side park where I was jogging... I mean, tough training it must be where you must fight next to margarita bars and bikini girls playing beach volleyball.

I think you misunderstood madokafc, she didn't insult Pakistan, he just provided you with an answer that Indonesia will not be using weapons that are not being used by the country that makes them. Why are you so butthurt? If Pakistan is eager to sell JF 17s to Indonesia, Indonesia welcomes that, but when we decide not to use them why do you feel the need to insult us?

Actually Indonesia has also been developing new fighter with South Korea that inshaALLAH will be produced around 2020's. For the mean time , while waiting for that, we just add more refurbished F-16 C/D as it can be acquired cheaper with quite latest technology. For your information, USA also offers another 10 refurbished F-16 to Indonesia that we havent decided yet weather to take it or not. This acquisition can serve as a cheaper and effective transition program before we can induct our own jet fighter into our Air force, inshaALLAH.

For MBT, we also have refurbished Leopard from Germany that are taken in a very good price. And beside that, we are still lack in IFV/AFV, MLRS, light tanks, helicopter, and even rockets which is very important in our defense strategy. I believe we should prioritize this one first, in term of pouring money into our Army . For fulfilling those needs, we have our own product (PT Pindad made), and for light tank there is a project, undergoing, to make light tank that is suited to our needs, we are cooperating with Turkey for the this one.

Singapore used to have Centurions before. Merkava has much better mobility than Centurion.

In Gaza and West Bank Merkava's were attacked by RPGs for decade and never were even seriously damaged.
