Yes yes, according to many mad Indonesian here, it appears that Singapore may launch a Blitzkrieg against them, and will kill many Indon.

To be frank, 90% of Singaporeans hate our army. USA and western nation sold arms to us, squeezing us try, while their defence contractor cheers.

The Indonesian never sympathize our plight. They bark and bark.

Given a choice, ALL Singaporeans would want these monies to go to social security and to use it to provision free healthcare, free education and pension for old.

However the Indonesians are natural allies of China because we don't have territorial disputes.I do think Malaysians should feel more threat from Indonesia,because they may compete who can lead the ASEAN,with the population and squar like Indonesia,it's nature for them to be the big brother of ASEAN.But Malaysia is richer,and they have a better military,so I think they will compete with the Indonesians

I really dont understand the policy of buying more MBT for Singapore. This tiny island doesnt have any depth to be defended effectively. Even Israel have to push their territorial and security boundaries to get strategic depth in defending their country against land invasion. I dont think there are any major gap between their current Leopards and Merkava technology. I dont know maybe some kind of long standing defensive agreement or transfer of technology for future development of Merkava? i mean the next generation MBT to replace their Leopard.
As for territorial ambition i dont think it is wise for Singapore to do that. Even with the current condition of Indonesian Army if we get into all out war with them, we can overrun the island in the matter of days (without interference of US or Australia).

Singapore got a big tragedy that NO PRC will ever understand. Some PRC even like victim blaming. We are surrounded by Muslim countries and all of them think that Chinese here took Malay land.

You guys PRC has problem with 6 million Uyghur. We are surrounded by 250 million Muslims. Every month there are news of racial clashes (they shitt on their own Shias and Ahmadya). What do you want us to do?

Even then all SG hate our army, and hope to show goodwill to the Muslim neighbours. You look at how PDF Indonesian talk about us? They are basically paranoid, self-victimize people, extrapolate artist, wet-dreamers.

If Singapore doesnt have good military, there can be a crazy nation who will invade them, but surely it is not Indonesia, since there is no reason to attack any country that is not backed by moral ground. Indonesia is a democracy country now, not like when we were in 60's and 70's anymore.

Actually, we like Singapore that has a good military since it can push our government to do more in our defense arsenal and industry. Our real aim is not Singapore in term of modernizing and strengtening our military, we want something big, which is more influence and weight in international politics.

To be frank, we hate our military. The top officers get high pay. Our government use this monies to prop up white man defence contractor.

Every Singaporeans are complaining why we are buying so many weapons.

If singapore is as big as Isreal,I will support them to have a military.Even with modern technology,the strategic depth is still very important.Even with the size of Isreal,I still think too small for the strategic depth,in fact,if I'm the isreali leader,I will never give up Sinai,because with Sinai,you have more strategic depth,and history proved the Egyptians can't take Sinai by war.

I served as a military police.

Nowadays, ALL Singaporeans males are demoralize. We are wondering what are we fighting for. Our elites exploited us so much that we are now thinking we are fighting for the property and wealth of the rich. This land belongs to the rich and not us.

There was a time when the morale are high and we know we are defending our families. Now no longer. Upon war, many Singaporeans may choose to flee, letting the elite fend off themselves.

Dont worry there are no hatred towards Singapore among Indonesian people, that espionage scandal only make us aware that Singapore cannot be trusted anymore. But we dont have and never have any intention to put Singapore in the list of our enemy.

Indonesian much prefer to valued their Nationality, so much even above their own religions, that's why we can survive until now. And how you can blame Islam, when Indonesia hated Malaysian more than Singapore?

To my Singaporean and Indonesian Friends.

Whatever the case learn from our experiences. Defence equipment bring unnecessary strain on economy and development of a nation.

Far East is the only Muslim region which is peaceful and growing and that must be kept safe from these Westerners and their interests. They just want to create hostilities and trigger an arms race.

I will advice the Indonesian Friends to be careful in this and think for the peace of the region and be patient with Singapore and make them realize that they are wrong.
