I think it is more of a cultural thing than anything else. The Bhakts are more interested in the appearance of victory than the genuine article itself. China has not shot one bullet to its neighbours for 30 years. Having territory disputes is not equal to aggressive country. It's more about history issues. But if one country always used military methods to deal with issues with its neighber(Pakistan), intervened neighour's internal affair and bullied them(Nepal, Sri Lanka,Bhutan, Bangladesh ), annexed its neighbour(Sikkim), it must be aggressive country.
