lol @ this guy ''kalki''

i think he really is trying to self-convince. Strange to talk about Bangladesh and Pakistanis being mightier than thou. Yes we are very proud people, but we recognize our mistakes --- indian hand werent too clean in 71 either. Many pro-Pakistani Bangalis and of course Biharis could attest to that. But let's look to today.

at any rate, few in the forum openly support Sikh seperatism. We accept the internationally recognized border.

It's just....... 'refreshing'...... to see that there are people across the border agreeing with what 180 million Pakistanis believe:

Pakistan Zindabad.

nothing to get too worked up about.....:meeting:

lolzzz where is billu haider;)

Do the Kashmiris have diamonds instead of eyes?

Or is it that tha Kashmiri fair skin is somehow of more use to Pakistanis than Bengali dark skin was...

;)

there are thousands in pakistan also which believe in our ideology;)

Of all the people in the world, Pakistanis should be the last ones to give us scriptures over torture and murder.

oh? i didnt realize hinduism was an indian religion! I thought india was secular --so by saying ''our ideology'' you are indeed confirming the view that hindu is indian religion.....well using that logic, then sure there are Pakistani hindus sharing your ideology.....however, and they arent being murdered or tortured --and they sure as hell aren't chanting ''bharat jindabad''

3)punajbis thinks theirself as superior.
4)kashmiris thinks independence.....

the cost of my freedom of expression is to fight for my fellow citizen's freedom to chant what ever garbage he wants.. even if it is Pakistan Zindabad.. But then you need to live in a democracy and not under the protection of a spy agency to know that. ;)

Ask the Balochis!

They will tell you what it means to live in an undemocratic Islamic state which is Islamic only by name.

The apparition of the Army gun's barrel hovering over the horizon 24x7...

1-3 are immature garbage and actually incorrect.....there is some truth to #4 on both sides of the LoC.

there is a much stronger sense of nationhood in Pakistan than india; at least that's my observation. Both countries do have lingering issues with provincialism. Quaid e Azam was very clear about end to provincial mentality and Pakistani nationalism (i devoted a thread to the topic)

on paper, yes maybe. In practice, i don't agree really. Though it's not really my business or concern since people like myself were blessed to be Pakistani.

well i cant speak for others; but if democracy means people in Pakistan screaming pro-indian slogans -- well -- in that case give me an iron-fisted dictatorship anyday of the year

by the way, Pakistan is very lax on dissidents (a bit too lax); we just dont have people chanting pro-indian slogans. Nobody felt the need or even a quarter of a desire to do so.

hope that cleared things out for you; it seems your nerves have been rattled, why do you want to make yourself an object of laughter?

Heh.. Where did Pakistan's laxity or lack of it towards its dissidents (yeah, they are pretty common in a democracy) come into the picture? I was simply talking about the title of the thread. Freudian slip... Is it?? looks like nerves are surely rattled but not where you think ;)

and about iron fisted dictatorship, well Pakistan hasnt seen any other form of workable govt any way since 1947 for a reasonable period of time.. so yeah, you dont have to ask for it.. You already have that..

Indeed!

We both know what your iron-fisted dictators are capable of doing both inside and outside your country.

Shall we ask the Bengalis?

or the Ahmedis?

or the Bhuttos?

or the Afghans?

Heck a certain Asia Bibi is still paying the price of your iron-fisted dictators long after his death

Poor lady must be seeing Zia-Ul-Haq's rooh doing bhangra over her head in the jail every night.

...

whom should we ask, eh? ;)

what a pity- this bearded sikh probably extremist should be charged with sedition- and should be dealt with the likes of kurkure-
