Sick of coming last, India's state of West Bengal could soon change name to 'Bongo'

Still, this is the first time I've seen this assertation be made (the state leaders are doing this purely because they don't want to be at the bottom of the list).

At least they will be called early in delhi as they call alphabetically.

Instead of changing, why not reverse the name.

Bengal West instead of West Bengal or Bongo

India don't have any East Bengal so Bengal or bangla makes more sense.

Originally, it was West Bengal, hence the reverse. Either way, Bengal is fine. The simpler, the better since there is no East which warrants no need of West unless it is to differentiate from Bangladesh.
