Siachen Glacier Melting At a very fast pace....

These are the recent pictures taken from google earth in 2009. You can see the glacier is even melting at heights above 18000 ft that is something to be worried of.Huge monster size lakes are appearing all over the length of the glacier. I urge all members (Pakistani and Indian) to have constructive discussion on the issue without any fight as both countries have equal responsibility to protect this beautiful gift and save it for future generations. Please dont fight on this thread atleast. We all are fed up of Indo Pak fights on forums. please contribute something positive towards the issue and how can we both solve this with mutual consent.

yeah global warming can be blamed but intresting enough the glaciers free of any conflict like other Glaciers in ladakh and gilgit baltistan are not melting at this alarming rate
