Should PDF allow religion/religious topics to be discussed ?

With all due respect to the moderators and their rules on PDF, I love staying on PDF reading and interacting with members from various countries and cultures around the world , but there is one thing that bother me is that why PDF has the rule against opening or discussing religion or religious related topics ? I understand that trolls somehow over shadow the thread and people get emotional over some comments, so i want to propose a proposition here .

So like we have various sub-threads in members club and senior members club where only Senior members can visit and comment, Moderators can create a Thread in Senior Member section and only Declared Muslims can and should be able to discuss or comment on it, any troll , Non Muslim or agnostic can refrain from commenting and if someone does he/she should be banned instantly , like this no one will dare trolling such threads .

I think we all can share our knowledge on Islam with each other, discuss various ideas and ideologies and how it can benefit our country , and how it can help bring our people out of extremism , i know PDF is not the right platform but we can not neglect the military History of Islam and how Islam as a religion influence the outcomes of some battles which change the course of history . I hope moderators will think about my proposition and do something about it .

Islam is not just a religion, its whole way of life.. It has everything from minor to Harsh punishments , and from peace to War , from philanthropy to how manage a society, from how to deal with natural disasters to how to deal with nature and scientific changes .

there is no dispute about that ( except for Qadiyani's ) but looking at they are very few in numbers here , they can contribute their knowledge without hurting others sentiment , not all are rude and drunk when they post here .

Mate..you need to provide more information with your statement like without hurting sentiment...For every person their religion is better than others...Does that mean the other fee hurt by its assertion of individual religion..

Off late i see that the level of discourse and discussion goes very low even at the sligtest of variation of opinion...Initially i was thinking it is happening as Indian posters have an conflicting view about Pakistan view...But off late...even posters from within Pakistan is abusing to each other with silly issues too...

So in this environt discussing about religion means, moderator has to do extra work to clear up the trolls...

well what i have in mind are multiple threads , one for each of the main stream religion which is practice by members here for example , Islam Hinduism Sikhism , Judaism , Christianity , Jainism each religion will have their dedicated threads with people who belongs to that particular religion posting about the new research , discoveries and debates or any interesting finds in their designated threads , people can tag other members whom they think can and will handle a decent attitude in discussing a certain thing, for example if you are posting a news about Hinduism in Hindu Religion thread, and you want my opinion on it , you can tag me personally to ask, and if anyone from Hindu religion thread find someone abusive or rude regarding Hindu religion ( things like Cow P!ss drinker ) than he/she should get a instant ban or thread ban at least .

if he support Taliban that is his problem, if he comes to justify violence on innocent civilians , i am sure there are plenty of Muslim who can debunk his claims within 2-4 posts .

I know..You are one of the few members who agree to politely disagree with differences...And trust me...I find Muslim people are in general very religious in nature..So they know lot of thing about their practice..So really some one has to be very careful in debating in PDF...

Look , i won't lie but i made comments which i am not very proud of .. but at least i have shame and courage to acknowledge instead of constantly trolling one particular religion . For example I might have troll in Hindu related threads but again i am not proud of those posts of mine . I do troll Jews by calling them Chosen people but again not mean it under any form of insult .

I want separate threads for each religion where they can freely share about their faith , discuss their new finds , and debates which might help other/youngsters to understand and learn new things , I won't lie i learned a lot of new Hadith which were put here by some members over time , and various historical things which i later reconfirmed through various sources , i think by completely blocking the religion/religious topics we are holding a huge wave of knowledge from some of the most decent and well known posters here .

Religion is more integral to defence than any of those factors... When Pakistani mujahideen fight the enemy, they raise naira-e-takbeer and not "hail to some ATGM"

Yes, I believe that discussion and debate of Islam, or any other religion for that matter, should be actively encouraged. However, unearned posting privileges based solely on one's declared religious identity may prove counterproductive.

If you have patience to listen POV then why not. Tolerance is issue here. Majority loses tolerance when talk about religion.
Patience is key to prove point instead of blaming, shouting , issuing fatwas.
Attacking other religions was becoming norm here, but when other attack , then you people start abuses.
So don't say bad to any religion. Respect each other, Get respect .
