Should Pakistan Navy buy Atlantique 3 or P-3C Orion

what Aircraft china uses for Maritime Survellience and Antisubmarine Role?

.
What about SAAB 2000 MPR
SAAB is offering this aircraft for Indian Navy tender for Maritime patrol and Anti ship aircraft order for 10 such aircrafts

Saab is unlikely to bag this deal coz its facing Boing P8i DIET and Bombardier in this deal
More capable versions of Both these aircrafts will enter indian service in next 1-2 yrs and Indian navy would like to ensure commonality

So SAAB would be willing to sell this aircraft to pak once it is booted out of Indian Competition
PAF erieye also uses this aircraft platform so it will encourage cost saving thanks to commonality

No! All tender applications mean that they will not want to decrease their chances by selling to the opposite side. So Saab will not sell to PN. Also why do you guys not think for a moment as to whether there is a need for a plane of this nature or not. PN certainly does not seem to think so as they want to get their hands on as many P3s as they can.

We need 10 to 12 more P3C Orions.!!!!

Oh Bhai! Have you changed your name to Azad as well or are you 2 sharing the same brew of tea. Why do we need 22 planes to guard our small coastal area. How do we secure the funding for it and how do we maintain them?

We dont have the money for any of the above. We have the infra structure for P3s and commonality with regards to the engines so that makes life easy for us. Once our finances improve we should embark on a JV with China and build our own rahter than go and buy off the shelf.
