Should conscription be made compulsory for Pakistani youth?

Should the military training be given to all capable youth in Pakistan?

Well one get some sort of physical training in schools i guess.
Its not about money ........its about need for it and other issues.
Army is doing good job......no need for civilian to fight in the war......and also extremism runs deep in Pakistani society it might can have negative impact on internal security of Pakistan.......its very easy for militant organistations like TTP to get young Pakistanis do their dirty works........guess with military training that will be a nightmare for Pakistani administration to deal with them.......

6 months is a big time period......nomal military training is also not. More than few weeks

Practically possible.......may be adding some program in acadamics , schools will work for civilian defence program

how abt awareness campaignes? Allow men to carry guns,show them how to load guns,fire some shots etc

I think this is a good idea, to establish links with youth. then army wont require to say fooj awam mien se hai. rather people would say fooj ham mien se hai.

we had that in schools, but somehow not anymore.

It doesn't mean that they are giving guns to people...they are just giving training to people...and i can tell there are plans in Pak army to give training to youth on large scale like it was given in Kp province .....

6 months is a big time period......nomal military training is also not. More than few weeks

it also includes Mental and physical training....in few weeks one cant be physically fit and mentally trained ....i think it should be of 6 months to 1 year....take example of Israel , its happening there..
