Shanghai Cooperation Organization or SCO is an intergovernmental mutual-security organization.

Cooperation on drug trafficking, counter-terrorism & common threats such as Anti-Piracy….

Member States - China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan & Uzbekistan.

Observer States - India, Iran, Mongolia & Pakistan

Dialogue Partners - Belarus & Sri Lanka

You should join ASEAN and far-east economic pacts ...create free-trade agreements with Indo-China countries, Thailand, Malaysia etc and encourage investment from Singapore , Taiwan , SKorea , Japan etc .

BD has no need at all for a military bloc , It should use the circumstances and opportunities instead to achieve economic boom and the highest living standards in South Asia in the next 20 years ..

IMO I think it is best advisable if you can stay out of SCO, NATO or any alliance at all other than safer non-military associations like ASEAN which will make Bangladesh more prosperous.

Did you know we were the founding memeber of original ASEAN but after 1971, the Pakistan name was dropped and no subsequent government pursued to replace the name Pakistan with Bangladesh.
