Should Bangladesh join SCO?

Nope... not at all. We have no military interest in that region. Rather BD could join Malaysia Indoneshia Thailand and form some sort of defence co-operation.

two south asian country india and pakistan is member of SCO.

this organization covers exchange of military,economic,cultural activities.

they also conduct anti terror exercise within the members.

china is already our strategic friend.

there r lot of advantages if BD join SCO.

Bangladesh will b able to contribute from a bigger umbrella.

They have observer status , not full members as yet . If Bangladesh joins , it will be expected to set aside a portion of resources for military purposes, much more than they currently allocate,impeding development. But then again the positive would be a security blanket ( dont know how effective ) against any adversary .

How can you be certain? India is distancing itself from the SCO due to American pressure.

As far as Bangladesh is concerned, it's a long shot! Although, the hard part would be getting the commitment and cooperation from Bangladesh's leaders.
