Sherdils is aerobatics team of Pakistan Air force. PAF established Sherdils aerobatics team back in 1972 with T-37 aircraft which were latter replaced by K-8 aircraft in 2009. The team comprises of 9 aircrafts which perform various formation maneuvers. Sherdil team pilots are not special dedicated Aerobatics pilots they are drawn from regular jet training instructors and they have an additional role of preparing and conducting formation aerobatics at various national and International events. currently Sherdil aerobatics team is lead by wing Commander Khalid Matin

The leader has been on the team for quite a while, he needs to rotate out. Part-time team or not, if they are capable of flying formation aerobatics they can certainly perform a lot more. And my comments reflect off from a number of Sherdils pilots who wanted to push for more, but were told not to.

As per the leader of team, it's because of security protocols though team has learned new formation maneuvers very recently.
