Not getting hyper at all, just clarifying a false perception that indians like yourself bandy about...you rightly said that we dont feel any commonality with pakistanis but then stated some how we feel a greater commonality with indians. Majority of Bangladeshis that could remember 1947 have long since died out, and very few of those that can remember 1971 are still around.

Each day that goes by, there is still less poeple that have any emotional attachment to india, These are just facts, young people look at the US and the west even south east asia as inspiration not india....sorry.

Bhai aamar.... inspirationer kotha ke bolche? Why should BD take inspiration from a fellow 3rd world developing country like India. Our income per capita is 1800 dollars against your 1500. Not much. Same ways, we look at USA/ Canada, etc and even though many on this site deny it, Indians do admire Chinese for there recent development.

I agree with you. BD's inspiration SHOULD be developed countries. Again, what you missed my point. Tell me one country with whom a common bangladeshi can communicate easily, culturally more similar (dressing and all, in fact I was amazed to witness Bangladeshi women wear sarees same as West Bengal), etc. etc.

US/UK still call you guys brown people from Indian subcontinent, SE Asian countries are deporting so many Bangladeshi and with the recent fiasco, it is clear that they feel threatened, I can go on and on. Point is, except for our religion and to some extent our recent past, we are the same people since 1000s of years.

Seeking salvage by switching goals, why am i not surprised.
Weren't those so called Khalistanis her personal body guards and those 2000 odd killed afterwards, suppose they were Khalistanis too.... tsk tsk indeed. And this notion of Musharraf rotting in some jail or house is just your brainstorm, for he was on tele just last night giving a detailed interview. The brave man that he is, he returned from Dubai upon his will to face any charges filed against him.

When his men were getting lynched by Indian air force on top of Kargil heights, more braveness was expected out of him.

But what we saw is denial by this men to accept those dying as his own.

Pakistani bravado at its peak.

even if they dont, do u know how much resource rich pakistan itself is? Thats why i said we r a total indigenous country.
Can you give some hard fact on natural resouces of Pakistan.Concrete data not speculation.I am very much curious:coffee:

Here is the point, we WERE the same people tell 1947...2 generation ago...trust me i have made a point of this as i often traveled through WB at least 4 times a year for my projects. I am sure you are well aware of the difference in spoken Bangali as spoken in Bangladesh and the spoken Bengali as spoken in WB. This variation has been around for generation and the difference is getting bigger faster which is natural through time, evolution and separation.

It is not just in the language that we speak that is differing, but also the food, the clothes etc etc...by the way women here tend to wear a kameez mostly and a traditional saree on formal occasions...

Being brown don't make you automatically "shared indian cultured" just as Koreans and Chinese aren't the same and Koreans and Japanese aren't the same. my culture and views arent the same as my parents even, you tend to look at this from a historic perspective were as i see this happening daily...indians and indian culture is as alien to us as serbian is.

Young Bangladeshis love Indian culture some even learn Hindi from Bollywood. I for one really like Bangladesh as friend. It will help both Eastern India and Bangladesh to develop.

He was brave enough to spend one night in a camp on the other side of LOC, a fact acknowledged by your former army chief. Besides, there's an old Indian (RED) saying, Tribal chiefs may smoke the pipe of peace but still a warrior knows how to respect another warrior.!!!... I suppose, few hundred years back, the wise ones never took internet warriors into the equation.

Obviously your living in the past, or in denial. Bollywood DVD sales have taken a dive, fewer and fewer younger Bangladeshis understand hindi, and most now speak english as their second language.

Bollywood cant compete with hollywood, and mtv culture.....

BD isnt my enemy, to us thats too distant a past and probably for the best, but the way Hasina Wajed is turning Bangladesh into an indian slave should be cause for concern for bengali people and army. Bengalis know full well how they are treated by the indians, do they really want to be in that camp.

.
Get over it brothers. Its their (Bengalis) choice.
I have no regret no feelings for it.
In a nutshell
"They (Bengalis) were our brothers once, They stabbed us in the back and humiliated us in front of our enemy. Now let them be how they want to be. "

Now indians throwing humiliating comments on Pakistanis for 1971. i take them all because we were stabbed by our own brethren what can we complain from enemy?

And this comment will be barraged with "Pakistan did the attrocities" bullshit. and i will not reply to those.

Its not us who stabbed you in the back. The other way around. Pakistan Military stabbed us and we didnt have any other option. You general Pakistani people are innocent.

Digress as much as you can but the cowardice Musharraf has shown has no parallel.

Too brave to let his men die for his own misadventures. Those poor men doesn't deserve a leader like him. They were braver than this coward of yours.

RIP.
