I have the sense enough to know that personal business is a long time contact for multiple heads of state, military folk and so on.

The sense lies in understanding these influences and where they assist or can create conflict of interest. Which is why even the US is having it's leaders declare assets and possible conflict of interest. That does not stop anyone from leading their country if they can prove their decisions are no longer influenced.

if they can prove it is a very open ended question man, one must look for systems that work and not complicate things needlessly....its a nation of 200 mil people so we can do away with people who have personal interests in enemy states, israeli companies are extremely patriotic and its kept this way by mossad due yet its not the same case with Pak, u knw what im talking about....we cannot judge two extremely diff states in terms of threat perception, population, geo politics and global alliances by the same standards....every region has its own unique traits....relationships are maintained via agencies, the premier does not go down that road....take example from what trump is facing in shape of the russian probe....

Human Nature is not a changing quantity. 200 million people who lak basic education and are generally ignorant of most internet and external issues cannot be expected to do away with a lot of things.

the only thing constant among humans through out history has been economics buddy, familial relations etc can be of no consequence and ik has no economoc relations with that family while nawaz has been proven to hold such ties..., economic interest is a bitch and a very dangerous thing, it drives brothers against brothers, u cannot judge both cases by the same parrameters, the economic relationship is massively more serious and by the way IK converted a jew girl to islam before marrying her, even the Prophet(pbuh) had jew wives, its his sunnah this way than, when did we muslims become an exclusive club??, the foremost duty of muslims is to carry the mesage of Allah to non believers, how can u be so blind as to resist and reject new converts?? we muslims need to ask some serious questions of ourselves, are we still following the religion that revealed it self in medina or are we following a brand of islam that suits our own aspirations hence the only thing we worship in the end is our ego not Allah.

Nothing wrong with doing business with Jewish.

But the point here that many posters are missing is that PMLN, the party which Nawaz Sharif heads, ran a persistent campaign against Jemimah, the ex wife of PMLN arch rival and nemesis Imran Khan. The smear and slander campaign that she is Jewish was so severe that Imran and Jemimah had to separate and then had divorce.

It was PMLN which was in power when they launched this campaign. They also lodged cases against her that were non-bailable like smuggling antiquities.

If there is everything wrong with marrying a Jewish woman, then there is everything wrong with doing business with Jews. This is the point and this is the context in which doing business with Jews is wrong, especially for those who had severe issue with someone's wife being Jewish.
