same trait found in east asia.. and not in pakistan.

@hinduguy I agree somewhat. And disagree. It also relates to policy.

The difference that I see is this. For example, Kerala and Tamil nadu have made some attempts at having the basics. more electricity, more education rural road connection etc.

The basic infrastructure in Kerala is mediocre. but iti si there.

I see an absence of it in a lot of the other parts.

It is not because Kerala is actually a well governed state. But somehow, it got it's basics somewhat up and running.

kerala people are generally hard working and law abiding people than UP and biharis...
btw most south Indians cannot compete with north Indian in enterprenureship... north Indians thrive on being chaotic, being different... south India.. continuation, symmetry...

no wonder as a society, south India prospered... they are more social people. Individually however a north Indian is much more friendly/social. (friendship/dostiyari is alien concept in south India)
