It's more than a video, it carries a deep message. I will not say much, Wasim Akram in the video has said enough for me. I am sick of this behavior by our people and Media. We abuse our heroes beyond a man can take this-so-called-criticism. I understand the team is failing, we need to support and respect him till the day he leads us. I feel sorry for him and the team, is it only their fault?
Our team should give their 100% on the field and try their best-that's all one can ask for. I can't guarantee they will win, but god damn it we need to respect our heroes. I bet if we do well in this World Cup Afridi will become the best-player in the world again. Pathetic behavior.
Moving on, we need to give him some room till the end of World Cup at least.

Agreed @WAJsal and he has served this nation on many occasion being the reason of happiness and proud so the few should not be that mean due to some failures. Team needs support for rise again during these bad times/lack of performance and we have to do this being Pakistan.

I am not a supporter of him being the captain (that role should go to a more calming and consistent individual like Sarfaraz or Hafeez), but having said that yes there is no real answer to the question of who should replace him? Since he is now the captain for the world cup we should all get back behind the team and support them. Baqi world cup ke bad dekhi jaye gi ab.

This is more than enough to bash him. Isn't he the same person, who made us win the Asia cup. We all went crazy on "you beauty". All this criticism is NOT going in his favor or even in favor of Pakistan and the team. They need the support till the last ball of the series. Only team doesn't win, a country win, and it is only possible if the people are backing the team. Boosting their morales.
I'm not defending his poor performance. But bashing him needs to stop. They are in a very huge tournament right now and they need peaceful minds to perform at their best.

Sir at least he needs to show his responsibility as a captain, and bat sensibly, yes he has NOT done in the past, but he needs to change, if he wants to make history, he will have to learn from his history.
My prediction is that if pak went through from group stages they can raise the cup, otherwise a big clean up is coming and an era will come to an end.

I know alic. He has made many good videos about Pakistan cricket.

Anyways. I don't have much hope from Afridi and this team. We are going to lose to India. And most probably might not go beyond group stage. Suits us well. We deserve it for tolerating mediocrity for this long.

A lot factors contribute towards performance of player.These factors may impact negative or positive.

These factors include:
*Inner politics
*Public/media pressure
*Home ground pressure
*Number of all-rounders in team
*Type of pitch(if too moist, then ball may slip off and if too dry then plus point for batsmen, again)
*Game-play strategy
*Player's health, experience and fitness

Hence, if media is supporting and environment so developed is positive and less pressure is there by supporters then our players will gain confidence to face other players.
So, let us support them for now and encourage them so that they remain in good health and play with full confidence.

Afridi is totally unpredictable. But man once he is able to find his mojo, he can become a real nightmare..he has proven this on many occasions, being a big match player we have to support him.

Media ain't gonna support. After that comment of Afridi to one of the journalist, I have noticed media opposing Afridi like so much. Even one of the anchor yesterday, read a couplet of poetry and giving Afridi a lanat. :/

I believe an overnight hero culture and thrashing them for any and every excuse need to stop.. The team is playing in WCT20.. The criticism should have been done later not now when players are taking field representing their country.

I agree with Akram Bhai.. If Pakistan does good in WC no one will say anything, if they dont then all would be blamed and a unnecessary pressure situation will be created..

Its not fair to create more pressure and make everybody bogged down..

The boys should go and enjoy and play their heart out

We are going to lose to India. And most probably might not go beyond group stage.

I think pakistan will give good fight to all the teams in the group. Indian wickets are good for batting and if pakistan can put decent score on board and bowl second they can beat any team. Also India won last 10 games and they bound to loose few. So we never know how the things pan out.
