Shahed-129 UAV crash landed near Chabahar

not good quality UAV, Iran need to invest more R&D still long way to go

. . .
It's unarmed, test flight maybe?.
It's not wise to use an armed drone for recon missions and to counter smugglers. It identifies suspects and ground forces to the rest. You can't just kill them without any notice.

How exactly did you come to this conclusion that it's not good quality?

I never mentioned it's of a bad quality, Raptors have crashed, doesn't mean they have a bad quality, could be many things.
I concluded it as a test flight as why would Iran use an armed drone for recon?, it already has a large fleet of recon drones, no?.
It's probably a test flight, must be an operator error, even our drones have crashed. And yes, you kill people without notice, we realized it the harsh way. Cheerio.

good quality dont just fall from sky, beside it look less sophisticated compared to US drone

Are you for real? Drones fall from sky regularly.

So Americans make junk drones. Makes sense.

Take a look at this list and number of crashes, all military powers make junk drones, because they crash.

That was reply to other member, not you.

So you say it's a test flight because it wasn't an armed drone?

We are seeing some of best logics here. No one makes a test flight in their borders, and not every unarmed drone is intended for a test flight! There is something called Recon missions which is the main job of UAVs in the world!!

He's on my ignore list, realized it, sorry.

They do.

I said, "it might", it's an opinion based on small evidence and my lack of information on Iran.

No need to get personal, it's an opinion.
Recon missions
I know that, but like I said, why would Iran fly an unarmed combat platform for recon when it has a fleet of recon drones, again my opinion. Based on the present evidence.

Keep your university projects out of Pakistani airspace, thanks.
Yet, you can't make anything close to that 'university project'. :P

Shahed is a recon drone that can also be armed. Because of long flight endurance (24h) it's much more logical to use it for long recon missions rather than small drones.

And btw, it has already passed its test flights 3 years ago.
