Awami League Fascist and Looting Demands Made in Shabag

Shabag gathering turned out to be Awami league fascists demanding mob justice. From street demand of hanging accused with and without a tribunal that already proven Awami League run court, Shabag bound Awami league mob presented their fascist demand yesterday. Among fascist demands Awami league crowd made in shabag were:

1) Shut down or Awami League regime taking over of Daily Amadesh, Nayadiganta and Diganta media. First sign of fascism is taking over or shutting down newspapers.

It is important to note that it is Daily Amardesh which revealed tribunal was controlled by Awami League regime and verdict was manufactured from outside even before trial completion.

2) Awami league regime take over and loot largest and most successful private bank, Bangladesh Islami bank. As if Sonali and Grameen bank looting and take over was not enough money for Awami League they want to loot largest bank in Bangladesh under guise of “71 spirit”. Same way Sheikh Mujub son went to loot Bangladesh Bank vault.

It is important to note that Islami Bank Bangladesh has nothing to do with Jamaat and a purely financial institute. Islami Bank Bangladesh financed most successful and biggest industrial success in Bangladesh including BSRM (one of the largest in South Asia) and Ananda Shipyard (largest ship makers and exporter in Bangladesh).

3) Awami league installed Vice Chancellors from different govt run universities expressed the fascist mob spirit by calling on for civil war against ideological and political opposition.

4) Fascist mob called for mass murder of one of the largest political party in Bangladesh.

---------------

The photo shows partial view of Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur on its own campus. The photo is taken from the university website.

At least seven teachers of Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur sustained burn injuries when BCL men reportedly attacked them and vandalised a loudspeaker splashing acid from its battery on them on the university campus Thursday morning.
Two of the injured -- Dr Tuhin Wadud, a lecturer of Bangla department; and Motiur Rahman, associate professor of management department -- were rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital

The injured teachers claimed that activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) made the attack, reports our Rangpur correspondent.Dhanajit Ghosh Taposh, BCL president of Rangpur district unit, however denied the allegation saying that they could not take the responsibilities of the attack since there was no BCL unit at the university.

Witnesses said some miscreants attacked teachers and students, who were demonstrating demanding resignation of the vice chancellor, in the morning. At one stage, the attackers vandalised the loudspeaker, which was set up by the demonstrating teachers and students in front of the administrative building around 10:00am.

BRO/SIS, didn't U just inadvertently mix it up thinking that Dalal's cadre as JI's one?

Nope.

Though, I read somewhere that their acting secretary-general did imply the risk of it before.
At a rally, Jamaat leaders threatened to paralyse the country if the verdict went against Quader Mollah. If ICTs are not scrapped, “country may face a civil war ”, they warned.

Shibir unleashes quick terror
photo_gallery.php

In an apparent bid to create panic among the people united for the hanging of war criminals, armed Jamaat-Shibir activists exploded cocktails and opened fire at several points in Dhaka yesterday, injuring at least 30 including three policemen.

Their attacks left another 17 wounded in Satkhira and Bhola.

The party earlier had announced to stage a rally at 3:00pm yesterday at South gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque.

Instead, several small groups of armed cadres were sent to different areas of the capital. Their attacks starting from 1:30pm continued in till 2:45pm.

Sneaking out of alleys, the cadres indiscriminately damaged at least 30 vehicles, including a police van, in the city's Karwan Bazar, Panthapath, Kalabagan and Motijheel, witnesses said.

People were seen running for shelter and traffic became thin during the rampage, witnesses said.

At least 73 Jamaat-Shibir activists were detained at Motijheel, Tejgaon and Kalabagan, police said.

Law enforcers fired at least 500 bullets and several hundred tear gas canisters in Tejgaon and Motijheel.

Assistant Commissioner Afroz Tutul of DMP's Tejgaon Zone and officer-in-charge Apurba Hasan of Tejgaon police station, a female garment worker Hafiza Akhter and pedestrians were among the injured.

They received treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Samorita Hospital, and other clinics in the capital.

Kalabagan Officer-in-Charge Enamul Haque told The Daily Star he had arrested five Shibir activists. He found their mobile phones stored with text messages in code language suggesting names of places like Karwan Bazar, Panthapath or Paltan. Separate text messages just suggested some numbers like three or 10.

“These indicate how these people were mobilised to different places. But we have to first interrogate the detainees to get a clearer picture,” he added.

KARWAN BAZAR
Several groups of Jamaat-Shibir men posing as pedestrians gathered near Karwan Bazar mosque around 1:30pm. After about ten minutes, they started shooting and throwing pelted brick chips at law enforcers, police and witnesses said.

“We were prepared; so we managed to contain them," Deputy Commissioner Chowdhury Monjurul Kabir of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Tejgaon) said.

He added three police men were injured during the clashes.

Witnesses said the cadres also damaged several motorbikes near Prothom Alo office.

Being chased by police, the Jamaat-Shibir men moved towards Sonargaon intersection.

Another gang vandalised two vehicles of NTV and RTV parked near offices of the private television channels in Karwan Bazar. The group also ransacked five cars of Titas Gas office.

The rioters then vandalised a police box at the Sonargaon intersection and fired several stray bullets. This was when garment worker Hafiza Akhter sustained bullet injuries.

The group firing stray bullets and cocktails then moved towards Bashundhara Shopping Mall at Panthapath where three youths sustained bullet injuries.

A running battle between police and rioters took place from Basundhara Shopping Mall to Panthapath traffic signal.

The armed cadres were about to get trapped between two police teams -- one from Karwan bazar end and another from Panthapath, witnesses said.

Witnesses added, at the moment Jamaat-Shibir men began chanted Joy Bangla slogan to pose as pro-liberation force.

Deputy Commissioner Chowdhury Monjurul Kabir said, "We picked up 24 Jamaat-Shibir men and of them five were injured."

MOTIJHEEL
In Motijheel, about 300 to 400 Jamaat-Shibir men suddenly brought out a militant procession in front of Notre Dame College around 1:30pm and blocked the road by setting fire to garment waste.

Later, police from Shapla Chattar and Arambagh areas chased the Jamaat-Shibir activists.

Officer-in-Charge Hayatuzzaman of Motijheel said "Amid gunfires from the cadres, we shot around 200 to 250 bullets and several tear gas canisters. The fled through lanes in the areas."

The OC said they picked up 43 Jamaat-Shibir men from the spot.

BULL SHYTE, DOG SHYTE FROM SHYTEE-MALAUNIC-DALAL COMMI-LOOTER, MAHFUZ ANAM'S NEWS PAPER. THERE IS NO BOMB, NO FIRE ARM IN SHIBIR/JI'S POSSESSION. THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT FOOLISH JI/SHIBIR'S MEN DON'T HAVE FIRE ARMS AND THAT'S WHY RAWAMY DALALS CAN BE AUDACIOUS TO SHOOT AT THEM. THE AMOUNT OF COURAGE THEY HAVE BEEN DEMONSTRATING UNDER FIRE AND TAKING BULLETS AT THEIR BODIES, SHOW THAT EVEN WITH 1/3 OF THE PORTION OF DALAL'S ARM AND BACK-UP, THEY WOULD MAKE TOAST OUT OF DALAL-BASTARDS.

That is trade marked Hammer-fist lie. Jamaat Shibir threatened Awami league. And Awami League does not represent Bangladesh, it represent india.

City Jamaat secretary general Selim Uddin issued the warning while addressing a rally in city’s Motijheel Monday.

Selim Uddin said, “Quader Molla isn’t any ‘butcher Kader’ while Delawar Hossain Sayedee is apple of eye of countrymen. Any verdict against them will lead the country toward civil war and Jamaat-Shibir activists will create mass upsurge.”

Jamaat warns govt of civil war

So Idune has lied as usual.

Also to see another example of how unreliable Idune is.

Hammer-fist using some unsubstentiated blog information

1) lied about Bangladesh national cricket team, which never went to Shabag
2) Twisted the title of thread with utterly false information.
3) Defamed Bangladesh ntional cricket team as a political entity.
4) put Bangladesh national cricket team in danger by associating (with this false information based thread) them with fascist demand and activity.

Those who like to see name and credibility of our national cricket team is not hijacked for political purpose with false news, please, report this lie and falsified thread to MOD.

Is it just me? Or is Daily Star insanely biased?
U wouldn't find even a single front page in its history without bad reporting against JI. Ironically its editor, Mahfuzur Rahman had been a live wire of Commie. And currently he is the biggest Bharat's mouth piece at BD that also is complicit of MUA's take over of BD.

This is 100% true.

There was an article somewhere on that paper which reported on the recent death of a freedom fighter of a Socialist background.

He died of cancer at the age of 62. I can't exactly pinpoint the source. It is there where Mr. Rahman said that he looked up to him as one of his role models. More specifically, Socialism/Communism.

It is rumored that the paper has links, as well as a fund recipient from RAW. Though, this isn't proven, but it is a possibility. Did you see the sheer number of articles in their op-ed section which talk about India? Many of which have absolutely nothing to do with Bangladesh? Especially of that Syed Badrul Ashan. I met him a long time ago in the UK, guy's hardcore Awami.

dispersing this crowd is not that hard, all you have to do is blow up few cars here and there, scare the parents of the kids and they wont let em out. At least half wont be out, take the women out of the protest, and you will find the boys with the women will dissapear. the dude to chick ratio there is 5:1 and 3 of the dudes go there for the chicks:lol:.
