Its no different from any other prostitution in the world. They just use religion to justify their acts. This is not be acceptable as it maligns our religion and gives Evangelical groups like DFN to have a go at our culture and religion. Its upto us to reform and get rid of such practices and disassociate these crimes from Hinduism.

Prostitution exists in all parts of the world - what i think is unbelievable is the fact the peoples do this under the religion banner. The 2 should be seperated and intense efforts by the government should be implemented. In the international field India doesnt want to be tarnished with this image. I am aghast at this sort of activity - once again education to these people would help to stop young girls living a life of this nature. Not pleasant and lets hope GOI gets it eradicated.

Of course it is, there is a difference between entering prostitution at your own free than being forced into slavery against your own will by another person. You living in Australia, would have to agreed prostitutes such as high class escorts who do it for money are different to people who do it because they are forced into it.
And if you knew anything about your country would have to agree that law in India has outlawed class entitlements but it still very much exists in modern day India.

Not all women mind sharing husbands; and not all women have to.
