Most people, unfortunately arent smart enough to understand reasoning. And this is where humor (should) works.
And since, most arent smart, one also needs to protect the freedom of all the people to express themselves and not cause harm to others. Hence, freedom of expression.
Mocking, insulting, criticizing, mimicking etc are all perfectly acceptable forms of reasoning. We experience these in our everyday lives, related to mundane topics. Why then do we get all riled up when it come to religion or religious sentiments is what amuses me.

I never have said there is/are 'no God(s)'. I simply ask to those who claim that God exists- prove indisputably and directly the existence of God.

How on earth insulting and mocking is defined as acceptable forms of reasoning? If I start insulting you right now it means that I am reasoning with you? it exactly causes harm to others.

There countries have not been attacked and their religions have not been insulted, religious sentiments are red line for any follower of any religion so you should learn to respect them.

So based on your argument the 'scum' fought Nazis out of love for France? They fought of self interest too. Everybody does stuff out of self interest. Jaundiced views of history do not help.

I wonder if this is the straw that breaks the camel's back in regards to preaching and whole imam thing regulation.

The only humane option i see right now, is government regulated Islam, some things will go away from scripture (or at the minimum from daily masses and preachings, or on friday or whenever) and that will be the end of it. If Muslims themselves are unable to combat this, it will be done instead of them.
If the urge for the undistilled version is so strong, they can calmly move outside of EU, Muslim countries are not that far away.

We Muslims should play a more active role in combating extremism and the West can do it's part and stay out of the Middle East. Which has done nothing, but make more extremists and has destabilized the Greater Middle East.

Actually when the British government in 1840 was interested to sell opium in Canton and the Qing dynasty protested, the summer palace was burnt down and concessions were forced down upon the Chinese. This is recognized by some Chinese as the beginning of the 100 year humiliation of China.
