At least 15 people including former Vice-president of Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU) Nurul Haque Nur have been injured when police allegedly foiled their anti-Modi protest in Motijheel Police Station area in the city.

Bangladesh Juba Odhikar Parishad and Bangladesh Chhatra Odhikar Parishad, led by VP Nur and others, staged the anti-Modi protest in the area on Thursday.

Sources said the organisations brought out a procession from the city's Bijaynagar area at about 11:30am in protest of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit in Bangladesh. More over 500 activists and leaders joined the programme.

A chase and anti-chase took place as police obstructed the procession when it reached at Shapla Chattar which left at least 15 people injured.


Faruque Hasan, joint convener of Bangladesh Chhatra Odhikar Parishad, said at least 15 leaders and activists were injured in the incident and 11 people were arrested.

No one has seen him selling chai at a train station
No one has seen him studying "entire political science"
No one has seen him getting arrested for Bangladesh.

We all know Sanghis are liars. This is just another one of those fables.

B’baria turns into battled ground, one killed

A madrasa student was shot dead in Brahmanbaria on Friday during a protest against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit in Bangladesh.

The deceased was identified as Ashiq, 25.

He was shot dead during an attack on district superintendent of police’s office around 6pm. Meanwhile, the protesters vandalized and set fire at Brahmanbaria Railway Station following the death of the madrasa student.

The railway station master Shoaib Ahmed said, “Several hundred madrasa students came to the station in the afternoon and attacked. During the attack they vandalized and set fire to ticket counter, panel board and passenger chairs. This stopped the train movement. As a result, several trains got stuck at different stations.”

Akhaura Railway Police Officer-in-Charge Mazharul Karim said, “Train services were suspended due to vandalism and arson at the railway station. Madrasa students have taken position on the railway line.”

Meanwhile, a GRP police outpost was also attacked at Brahmanbaria Railway Station.

What harm Modi has ever done to Bangladesh..... I'm sure BD people no fool to hate such great a and kind man like Modi..... Surely this is all staged by some foreign powers who can't tolerate India and Bangladesh strategic alliance..... Buy some dead cells and stage violance it's very easy.....
