I see the trolls are out in full force on this thread. The Republic of China didn't support the Dalai Lama's government. The Dalai Lama and Governor Ma Bufang went to war with each other and the Tibetan army was defeated. The KMT also supported Pandatsang Rapga's Tibet Revolutionary Party and supplied his Khamba guerilla fighters with arms against the Dalai Lama. Rapga said he wanted to overthrow the Dalai Lama's feudsl regime and establish a secular autonomous Republic of Tibet inside of the Republic of China. The Khambas are closer to the KMT and many Khamba guerillas rejected the Dalai Lama and support one China.
