Seven blunders that will haunt India for posterity

It is the only case in known history wherein a country, when on the threshold of complete victory, has voluntarily forsaken it in the misplaced hope of winning admiration of the world community。

So 1962 was not a complete capitulation on the part of India and China's unilateral withdraw didn't make it the only case in known history wherein a country bhla bhla。。。

India is indeed a country which is。。。。lolo lolo lolo。。。。

Chinese withdrew from the territory in 62 because their logistics in AP region broke and they couldnot sustain their war efforts .

You are comparing apples to oranges .

On top of that i really blame our father of the nation Gandhiji....to make a major blow to post independence India by declaring Nehru and their familly to rule the nation....This is the bigggest blunder for which my country is paying the price....If we want 2 be secular..why they can not make leader like Abdul Kalam Azad or Sardar Patel?

absoulutely.... nehru made some monumental blunders throughout his PMship of 17 odd years...

Blunder #8
Nuclear tests in 1998 code-named Operation Shakti. In response got sanctioned by the United States and Japan. And resulted in a nuclear armed Pakistan.

No way man... You see Pakistan responded with their test barely weeks later. You dont make a nuclear weapon in a week. Pakistan was prepared for it for a long time. Nuclear arms in south asia was imminent.

It actually could have been a factor that has prevented further wars, ( nobody wants a nuclear war)if you ignore kargil.

And, as another member pointed out, we knew the sanctions would come.
