ওই সাত যুবক ভালো কাজের আশায় দুই বছর আগে বিভিন্ন সীমান্ত দিয়ে দালালের মাধ্যমে ভারতে গিয়ে কেরালা রাজ্য পুলিশের হাতে গ্রেফতার হন

পাসপোর্ট-ভিসা ছাড়া ভারতে যাওয়ার অপরাধে দুইবছর কারাভোগের পর দেশে ফিরেছে সাত বাংলাদেশি যুবক।

মঙ্গলবার (৩১ ডিসেম্বর) সন্ধ্যায় ভারতের পেট্রোপোল ইমিগ্রেশন পুলিশ ট্রাভেল পারমিটের মাধ্যমে যশোরের বেনাপোল ইমিগ্রেশন পুলিশের কাছে ওই সাত যুবককে হস্তান্তর করে।

বেনাপোল ইমিগ্রেশন পুলিশের ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা খোরশেদ আলম জানান, ওই সাত যুবক ভালো কাজের আশায় দুই বছর আগে বিভিন্ন সীমান্ত দিয়ে দালালের মাধ্যমে ভারতে গিয়ে কেরালা রাজ্য পুলিশের হাতে গ্রেফতার হন। পরে কেরালা কেন্দ্রীয় কারাগারে দুই বছর কারাভোগের পর দু’দেশের যোগাযোগের মাধ্যমে ট্রাভেল পারমিটে তারা বাংলাদেশে ফেরত আসে।

খোরশেদ আলম বলেন, “ইমিগ্রেশন কার্যক্রম শেষে তাদেরকে বেনাপোল পোর্ট থানায় সোপর্দ করা হয়েছে। সেখান থেকে তাদেরকে পরিবারের কাছে হস্তান্তর করা হবে।”

On Tuesday evening, the Indian Petropole Immigration Police handed over the seven young men to the Benapole Immigration Police in Jessore via a travel permit. Dhaka Tribune

The seven youths were arrested by the Kerala State Police two years ago after crossing into India through a border crossing in hopes of doing work.

Seven Bangladeshi youths have returned to India after two years of imprisonment for traveling to India without a passport-visa.

On Tuesday evening (December 7th), the Petropole Immigration Police of India handed over the seven young men to the Benapole Immigration Police in Jessore through a travel permit.

Benapole Immigration Police acting officer Khorshed Alam said the seven youths were arrested by Kerala State Police two years ago after crossing into India through various borders to hope for a better job. Later, after two years of imprisonment in the Kerala Central Jail, they returned to Bangladesh on a travel permit through two-way communication.

Khorshed Alam said, "After the immigration activities, they were handed over to Benapole Port Police Station. From there, they will be handed over to the family. ”

they are living in every city of india .they should be identified and both govts should derive some mechanism for extradition of such illegal immigrants .
