I could be wrong but somehow, heard that IB is under pressure w.r.t. securing NS. A political fight that I think, a family actually utilizing I.B for personal gains against the country. I am off the opinion that whatever was discussed w.r.t. I.B role for protecting N.S/PMLn government, seems like it is a counter attack on behest of family to demoralize the forces as well as towing the same line that we heard from FM & others for which, they were criticized widely. I hope that superiors and concern authority will bring forward the truth hidden behind this criminal act and deliberate declaration for creating more trouble and hurdles.

From another aspect, we have been discussing that how PMLn has been protecting extremist fictions in Punjab and did not let the Rangers to take over and deal with them. These criminals were hired and supported for their services during the days of elections as well as to keep influence of political elites/ruling party.

Considering the above two facts, in my opinion, defamation of Forces and Country could be the point of such statement so that PMLn which is in trouble for its corruption and all, can survive yet blaming Pakistan indirectly by accusing Intel Agencies like this. However, reading the details actually transpire that how Prime Minister (N.S) who by law was controlling the I.B, actually involved in all this and such statement can prove a lot about his connections with hostile countries. If I am not missing something here, actually I.B was used by P.M for his personal links and gains yet this officer disclosed the same in Court.

It says some IB officials travelled to Israel and had direct links with Afghan intelligence which, it was found later, had links with another terrorist group from Kazakhstan.

correct , IB chief stayed as Nawaz guest for 4 days in London and backed before the arrival of Nawaz, all of sudden this news pop on Dawn. But this report should be fully investigated.
