He was probably referring to the Pakistani side feeling jaded with the China-Pakistan relationship more so than the other way around.

Friend, rest assured, that sentiment is definitely returned, vast majority of Chinese support Pakistanis and consider Pakistan Iron Brothers. If we talk percentage terms, there are fewer Chinese critical of Pakistan the same way Itachi is critical of China. One reason could be Chinese media rarely focuses on domestic policy of other countries especially with regards to human rights abuses.

From experience on Chinese social media, talking to friends and family, most Chinese are either indifferent or positive about Pakistan. I don't deny that there are some Chinese who are not fond of Pakistanis, mostly due to negative experiences with Pakistanis. Interestingly, the most critical tend to be women.

It's alright, I understand. My family is from Ningxia so we have lived side by side with Chinese Muslims and other religious and ethnic groups for a long time. I'm not Muslim myself but my experience with them is good. The news you hear is definitely exaggerated. Don't mind the negative or ignorant comments from some Chinese too much; China is such a large country and people are so busy that there are many who don't fully understand Islam but most don't mean harm.

Sino-Pakistan friendship is the stuff of legends in China. Yes, I know we have to be realistic and not let sentiment dictate international relations but a large proportion of Chinese take Pakistani friendship with patriotic ferver. There are videos showing how Chinese who visited Pakistan are well received to the point how Pakistani shop keepers refuse money despite their poverty. It works the other way around,去探店的阿力 is one such uploader and you can see that when people find out he is Pakistani, he is often treated to extra/free stuff.

Pakistanis are the only nationality in the world to receive such privilege.

Chinese cities are mostly clean and organized, how can a dirty people build and maintain clean cities? And Chinese people do not only live in China, when you say Chinese people are dirty, you include all Chinese nation.

Where did i say this? I just say every society has its foibles regarding hygiene....and it comes out in reality checks in the end....esp the more you try put a lid on it. Other societies put better referencing on how to run wet markets and things like that, its your society decision to play same ole "middle kingdom knows best" game after SARS and learn nothing on it.

Just like its your tourists decisions to do what they did in France and South Korea and everywhere else.....and making people think what its really like in China past the brochures and gentrified city scape.
