Senator Bernie Sanders Praises China for Lifting ‘People Out of Extreme Poverty’

Marx and Engels were right

He is not a Pakistani. an Indian troll with false flags.

@Itachi is A Pakistani from the West like me. Most Western Pakistanis are critical of Chinese policies in Xinjiang.

I don't think we should use China as a litmus test for patriotism to Pakistan, only Pakistan's internal issues.

Plenty of Chinese people have anti-Pakistani and anti-Muslim feelings too. We are friends at government to government level, but our two cultures are vastly different.

Exactly!

I mean, I appreciate the efforts China has made towards modernisation and helping Pakistan but that doesn't mean I must stay mum about other issues.

"Suspicious behavior" like giving up smoking and drinking?
It's almost as if they want people to live unhealthy lifestyles.

Maybe that's why people in China aren't accustomed to washing their hands after taking a dump.

Apparently washing ones hands after wiping one's behind is a anti-government act.

It was only when China abandoned Maoism and embraced capitalism that the climb out of poverty began. Interesting enough, China calls it socialism with Chinese characteristics.

There isn't even soap in hospital bathrooms.

There is no reason for Chinese people to be "anti-Pakistani" even after some of you like to accuse China of this and that. There may be some alienation between two peoples now. Gone the golden rule of "their country their rule" and those "Sweeter than Honey" days, but Chinese don't hate Pakistani.

Those show China has training schools in Xinjiang and rest of China, which China showed them already to various reporting groups.

I was refuting your point that Xinjiang rumors are established facts and universally accepted same as the fact of China's lifting of hundreds of millions out of poverty, which is not true, cause even Muslim countries don't buy it.

You are talking to the wrong person, as I am generally pro-China.

However you brought up a decent point, why is sweeter than honey days gone?

Vast majority of Pakistanis support China and Chinese, but why isn't that sentiment returned?

Because you people are gullible and easily triggered if someone push a right button.

We have very good hygiene habbit, that's why our overall health index is on par with the developed world. Can't say the same about your region. East Asian cities and peoples are not known for being dirty like some regions nearby.

Why India can't after over 70 years of "democracy and capitalism"?

He was probably referring to the Pakistani side feeling jaded with the China-Pakistan relationship more so than the other way around.

Friend, rest assured, that sentiment is definitely returned, vast majority of Chinese support Pakistanis and consider Pakistan Iron Brothers. If we talk percentage terms, there are fewer Chinese critical of Pakistan the same way Itachi is critical of China. One reason could be Chinese media rarely focuses on domestic policy of other countries especially with regards to human rights abuses.

From experience on Chinese social media, talking to friends and family, most Chinese are either indifferent or positive about Pakistan. I don't deny that there are some Chinese who are not fond of Pakistanis, mostly due to negative experiences with Pakistanis. Interestingly, the most critical tend to be women.
