lol. This is not Dream. F-35 is already offered By U.S.! But we are not so much interested and we have not yet decided yet. Read more about US offer to know the facts. As our need is immediate, so Rafale/Typhoon (4.5 Generation are better options). Also, F-35 will be delivered by 2017-2020. Why we will wait for that long for 5th Generation when we already have Deal of two 5th Generation Air Craft (Pak Fa and FGFA) worth 35 Billion $. We will have 250-300 5th Air Craft after 2017 onwards in any case.

BTW we have already rejected F-18, CISMOA, LSA, cutting ties with Iran, reduced ties with Russia, issues about SCO membership etc etc so does that mean...?

Well, actually he was correct. Let me elaborate.

The US manufacturing sector right now is not as robust as it used to be in the old days. The only manufacturing sectors that are good are aircraft (both commercial and military), military hardware and a few others. Its manufacturing sector is just not as robust as developing nations like India and China right now. The US has evolved into a knowledge based economy from a manufacturing one, so its economy is highly advanced.

And since your country is currently the largest importer of foreign made weapons and a large country with a big military, its a huge, huge, market. With the current economic problems in the Western world, they have their sights on you folks all right
