Depends on what program are you talking about and what era...Few decades ago we hardly had money to buy weapons and were greatful to Russia for giving us soft loans etc etc...Only a fool can put a condition of TOT...However now the things have changed...We have got some money and JV/TOT are very important for us if we ever want to get into indigenous mode...

Sorry- that did not answer my question you replied to. the question was simple , does India get TOT on all-even new weapons , armanent it buys from non US countries.

I think India already said no to the Bill-lion dollar toy plane, I read its some where that they stated that due to the "license" issues and also the bid being so late

They have no choice but to go for Rafale or Typhoon

I mean the F-35 is not going to be available not untill 2025 for exports

All drug dealers sell the drug cheap for first few years, the good stuff , once you get hooked on to their goods, then they , start charging you cash , look what it did to Pakistan Airforce relying on USA for its weapons since 60's

The problem with F-35 is that its just not a plane its a bus and once it comes into visual range its a dead billion dollar duck

Sure going up against , Taliban wooden sticks and curses while they rode on their horses was a great achievement for F-35 but a billion dollar for a fighter jet come on ... you get the drift
