"I politely ask them to either sell their lands or donate it for the construction of the Namal College Stadium. If they will keep on resisting, the PTI will take over these lands under Section 4 after coming into power… If they sell their lands right now, they will get some money. I just love his aggressive nature when its for the good cause but hate it the most when he starts defending some utter BS thing he said but has to defend it for sake of it. That is when things backfires and that too quite hard.

It's not about aggressive nature etc. This is not a quality a leader should have - Arrogance, overconfidence and threats. We've all been there before.

I love Imran but he has immense capacity to put his foot in his mouth at times. He must go to Shaukat Khanum Hospital to get treated for his " Foot in the Mouth Disease ". This statement made him look bad.

Goverment can buy land forcefully from you for public projects.

First get the govt ?
With this kind of stupid attitude , I don't think PTI will ever get the provincial govt in punjab .

He should donate his dam BANI GALA before asking peoples the lands of their forefathers , believe me , he has done a big damage here , cause this is mianwali , where peoples are really fanatic about their lands .
I think , in very short coming future , PTI will lose a lot more , what they gained in mainwali.
Accept , it dear , when ik is wrong , he is wrong ?

The govt can use imminent domain ( where the govt is fully liable to pay them the price aka the shops destroyed and land taken for road extension and metro in lahore. ) provided the reason is for actual development that will help the people... Will a stadium really help people and was it necessary to build it right over there. Surely for a single single stadium lands elsewhere could have been bought expanding numl.

I disagree with him here and his speech made it worse. Better wordings could have changed the very meaning of the paragraph.

Okay, a ground or a miniature sports complex for a university would make sense, an entire stadium for a university does not make sense at all. Also, the land is for an educational institute but not for an educational purpose. Furthermore, he was being arrogant in assuming that he'll definitely be in power in the future elections. Also, he threatened poor people, the same people he claims to be fighting for, based on a mere assumption.

Lastly, the only circumstance a particular government, according to Section 4, can seize land is if it is used for a public purpose, such as roads etc. A stadium for a university, does not qualify as "public use" and therefore, his threats are baseless, nonetheless they are threats and that too to manipulate the poor of the area! Which is shameful to say the least.

I understand a strong urge to support your ideals, but when a person is wrong, he is wrong, and Imran Khan has portrayed negativity on various accounts! The latest of course, being the absolute worst!
