Please read the UN resolution.
Pakistan had to do something before the plebiscite was held.
That's an all out lie Salim. We've covered this topic in detail. Yet you continue to lie, when you very well know the truth. That is not the mark of someone of good character.
I'll cover it again. The UN resolution required Pakistan to START withdrawing its forces from Kashmir, which it did, THEN a figure to which troop numbers were to be reduced to was agreed upon, which for Pakistan was 6,000, and for India was 18,000. Pakistan agreed, India did not, stating that it needed 24,000 troops at least . India broke off and obstructed the plebiscite, and this is all PROVEABLE from the UN ressolution, and was in fact stated by the UNCIP chief (that India was obstructing the plebiscite).
As a side note, 6,000: 24,000 is a 1:4 ratio. Even by India's own admission they needed 4 times more troops to hold territory against Pakistanis.
