civilians have a horrible track record @ governance in Pakistan; unfortunately they led the country astray and FORCED the army to step in
looking to today, I think it's safe to say that despite the problems in the country --the country is maturing; i don't see the Army playing any active or "covert" role to destabilize govts. or meddle in the affairs of civilian admin. It's to their advantage to let the bufoons (politicians) make a mess. . .I dont see the Army stepping in unless there's an existential threat or things hit really rock bottom --putting the country in a spiraling crisis both economic and political
let that be clear, so there isn't confusion or doubts on it
it's only the arm-chair analysts here and in the media who keep blaming the army for f*ck ups they had nothing to do with
