I will add my personal experience in the army and will let
@Xeric and
@Icarus add their's re alleged "sectarian" tilt in the Pak-military
shia military personnel praying together with and behind the Sunni's as if they are among shias only. our units sanctioning free transport for shia personnel to go and attend moharram congregations and sunni driver and guards waiting patiently outside in and around the vehicles all night while their shia brothers in arms offer their respects to Imam Hussain r.a.
sunni soldiers leaving some of their own food aside after breaking their fast and waiting for the shia personnel to join them since the shia open a little bit late due to difference in interpretation of fasting time. shia personnel inviting the sunnis to their specific gatherings. there are many examples of lack of sectarianism and harmony in complete contrast to what gem of a revelation that came out of our Indian friend
well all such groups identify themselves as something different. to them all ordinary sunni and shia are murtad so they are constantly getting their behinds kicked badly by our army
