Second Take on Pakistan-Saudi Loans

So Pakistan was a reason of china Iran deal where China is investing 400billion and Pakistan the deal broker can not have such a deal for itself ...
And no money and oil has been stopped or asked be back 2months back some where in June ..before this Iran China deal
..

Pakistan doesn't have oil, but we do have CPEC, and Pakistan's framework is what was used to create the Iran-China deal, many parts of the Iran-China deal are actually an expansion of CPEC from Pakistan to Iran and are integrated directly into CPEC itself. $200 billion out of 400 is signed agreement for Iranian oil exports to China. The rest of the $200 billion is either new infrastructure China builds in Iran or an expansion of CPEC to link to Iran. My personal guess is that Pakistan will directly or indirectly get boost of roughly $70-$100 billion to CPEC from this agreement so Pakistan had big incentives to facilitate Iran-China deal. In clear cut terms, this $400 billion Iran-China deal would not have been possible without Pakistan and the Saudis know this too.

KSA doesn't have to be transparent about its motives so this leads this situation open to too much speculation.

Pakistani's should be sympathetic to KSA and try to work with them, IMO. Current global situation has caught KSA by surprise. They're oil price war was poorly timed. This plus the shut down in hajj and umrah has no doubt hurt their economy. The petro dollar is being debased in record amounts. Call me old fashioned, but I care about KSA and the situation Kashmir isn't going to change without blood and iron (OIC can do nothing). With the current crisis, I don't think we should push them right now.

KSA needs to think bigger then the GCC and think past the petro-dollar. The dollar order is on its way out, IMO. This process could take decades. KSA needs to cozy up to China and a future Eurasian bloc. Better for KSA to start hedging its bets on the petro dollar. Pakistan should offer any access to CPEC and Eurasia KSA requires. Iran really had no choice, but KSA should plan this out and hedge its relations with the USA and China.

Sympathetic? Where was the sympathy from their side when they were putting a har of gold on Modi? Or investing 80B+ in India. I understand their are economic interests but it’s time like these you find who are your true friends and will stick with you. We need to step back and introspect this relationship which was built on a loan, and will remain a customer to bank relationship you can’t turn this into anything more.

Who else would have offered a loan or deffered oil at the time? KSA has helped us in times of need. You must acknowledge this. Past Saudi leaders made decisions based on their Islamic heritage and tribal culture. Current gulf leaders are different. We have to accept the change and work with it.
