i think, china needs to expand this project, various models needed to be tested simultaneously from different platforms.

If the U.S. has successfully developed such system which I don't know how far the program has progressed, then all Chinese defense system is pretty much useless. Imagine a SSGN with hypersonic missiles.

Possibly. Could be the next race to the atomic bomb first equivalent. Whoever has the hypersonic weapon has the advantage over other countries.

Think of the possibilities of Mach 12 or above missiles that makes all defense systems obsolete around the world. Not even the Russians can counter something like that.
