Scientists to US Congress: We Have the Technology to Find Alien Life

There is no place of God in the grand design of the universe. It only had been a tool to control over the masses, or there wouldn't have been different versions of God in different cultures and at the same time, they wouldn't have gone extinct with the civilization. How many people worship the all powerful Zeus or Apollo now?

But we still workship Shiva, and Brahma.
And our civilization is as old as theirs.

But we still workship Shiva, and Brahma.
And hindu civilization is as old as theirs.

If Hindus extinct, so will the Shiva or Brahma. Simple as that. There are dozens of religions throughout the world, so does the belief of their God being the only deity.

As for travel to these new planets , closest star is 40,000 rocket years from us !!!
What the heck is '40,000 rocket years'? There's no such terminology! You mean light years? The nearest star system is Alpha Centauri which is 4.2 light years away. A rocket traveling at light speed (186,000 miles per second) would take just over 4 years to reach the star. A rocket travelling at the conventional speed of 30,000 mph would take would take over 81,000 years to travel the 4.3 light years (or 1.3 parsecs) from Earth to the Alpha Centauri star system. To put that time-scale into perspective, that would be over 2,700 human generations.

Needless to say, the amount of energy needed to reach the star system is mind boggling! Billions of tons of rocket fuel!

And therefore scientists are busy trying ion drives, nuclear propulsion, and so on. But even with this it would take centuries to reach the nearest star. The only hope is 'worm hole' technology which is based on the space time continuum. But that's probably way way into the future, probably another 100 or more years!

Warp drive has higher chance of succeeding than Einstein Rosen Bridge.

Agreed. American scientists are already on the job where warp drives are concerned. This seems more achievable than worm hole technology where there are 'fixed' entry and exit points. Warp drives can take you anywhere you want at FTL speeds!

Well, even warp drives would perhaps take another 50 years to perfect. Probably more. But once that is achieved, interstellar space journeys would be a walk in the park and open an exciting new chapter in space exploration.

Now the question is, have older advanced alien civilizations already achieved FTL travel? Most likely, considering that the universe is 15 billion years old and there could be civilizations that came into being even before the birth of our Solar System which is just 4 billion years old.

We have achieved heavier than air flight in just over a hundred years and landed on the Moon less than 60 years later. Think of what alien cultures that have existed millions of years before us would have achieved!

As Arthur C Clarke famously said, the technology of such beings would seem like magic to us!

There is another way out, and we have the technology. Magnetic acceleration powered by Solar light. While it will take years and years to reach a great speed for even a small pod, when a significant speed is reached, time dilation will take care of the distances for the traveler.

Also, think about how easy it has become to render ourselves extinct. Now imagine how many intelligent civilizations may have propped up and gone before achieving Type I status.

In addition, civilizations that advanced may evolve outside of their physical bodies and exist as forms incomprehensible to us. We might not even become noticeable to them even as Type II or Type III civilizations.

They could haved committed suicide after getting bored of existing.

Crazy thoughts!

If that's crazy, read on.....

Type III civilizations and higher could be busy with stellar space engineering. The pulsars and quasars could be their handiwork, as well as terraforming planets. 'Free floating' planets have been discovered in space that are traveling without their captive star systems! What are they? Traveling space colonies on space ships the size of planets? Or planets made into space ships to explore the universe?

Was our Earth terraformed too, hundreds of millions of years ago by an advanced alien race? Is the Moon artificial? Or was it brought from somewhere else and tidally locked around Earth and placed in an exact orbit? (Without a Moon, there would have been no life, or just microbial).

Questions, questions, questions! Will we ever solve these mysteries? Probably not, until we graduate to a Type II/III civilization ourselves. (We are at present not even a Type 0.2 civilization!)

We as a human race are more concerned with religious conflicts, corruption, terrorism, and wars of domination. No one has the time to ponder who we are and what is our purpose in the universal scheme and what our destiny is in this vast cosmos.

Here is a representation of how big our universe is and where we stand. It makes one look so small and insignificant in the larger scheme of things.....

Here's the video. (Don't forget to read the descriptions on top of the video). And remember, this is just the observable universe. Just a part. And who knows, there could be billions of such universes!

As Asimov said, "there are more galaxies in the universe than all the grains of sand on Earth and then some!" And then there are billions of stars in each galaxy. In this, even if just one advanced civilization exists in a galaxy, there could be trillions of advanced civilizations in the universe!!

Bottom line: WE ARE NOT ALONE!

This talk about the need for warp engines to go out and find life is moot. There are 3 moons in our solar system with estimated liquid water and a rocky core, of one they are sure it contains more water under the ice then there is on Earth.

Ohhhooo where is our in house scientist@Skull and Bones and alien expert @OrionHunter ???

Finally our scientists have found the largest structure in the universe which contradicts the big bang theory.

Onswipe

So will this also contradict our E=mc2??
(Tell me if the link is not working)

Hmm??:undecided:

I'm not a scientist, just a grad student of Nanoelectronics and Quantum computing. Maybe someday down the line i might be.

And big bang theory is just a theory, there are many other plausible explanation behind the creation of the universe. I'm not that much acquainted with the field.

You really believe in the so called big Bang Theory? It's just a theory after all! Extrapolation! Just because the universe is expanding, scientists have rewound it backwards to come to the conclusion that all matter in the universe must have started from an infinitesimal point - a singularity.

Considering there are trillions of galaxies out there, each having on an average billions of stars, can you even begin to imagine the amount of mass in the universe? Is it possible that all this mass was a single point or singularity, 14 billion years ago, which suddenly exploded in what we call a Big Bang?

Anyone with even half a brain cell will know that this is all rubbish! There was no Big Bang. The universe always existed - called the Steady State Theory. It wanes and expands at varying intervals. We are in the expansion phase in the present period of the universe.

The compelling reason for commitment to the Big Bang is that this is essentially the only cosmology which funding agencies are willing to support financially. There are, in fact, a goodly number of competent physicists and astronomers who reject the Big Bang theory in favor of some form of the Steady-State theory or the Plasma theory of origin. They argue that these theories can explain all the so-called "proofs" of the Big Bang without incurring its many problems.

But—they complain—cosmic research requires much money, and they can't get any. So mainstream scientists hop on to the Big Bang bandwagon even though most don't believe in it!!!

I might sound silly(in all probablities) but was still curious and wanted some answers.
In the video they had shown the areas which have been mapped in the universe. Why havent they been able to map the blank areas which happen to be opposite each other??any idea?
Time! Its taken them years to map what they have. It'll take them many more years of observations to map the remainder. And even then, this could just be the tip of the iceberg!!
Then what are the chances that earth was terraformed??
That's in the realm of possibility. We are at this very moment making plans for terraforming Mars! So, if we can do it in a thousand years from now, terraforming Mars into a habitable planet for mankind, it is possible that very advanced alien cultures or Type III civilizations with extremely advanced technology, billions of years more advanced than us, may have done the same to Earth tens of millions of years ago!
You said moon could be artificial. Could you explain what you meant exactly???
With pleasure!

1. Moon’s Age: The moon is far older than previously expected. Maybe even older than the Earth or the Sun. The oldest age for the Earth is estimated to be 4.6 billion years old; moon rocks were dated at 5.3 billion years old, and the dust upon which they were resting was at least another billion years older.

2. Rock’s Origin: The chemical composition of the dust upon which the rocks sat differed remarkably from the rocks themselves, contrary to accepted theories that the dust resulted from weathering and breakup of the rocks themselves. The rocks had to have come from somewhere else.

3. Heavier Elements on Surface: Normal planetary composition results in heavier elements in the core and lighter materials at the surface; not so with the moon.

4. Magnetic Rocks: Moon rocks are magnetized. This is odd because there is no magnetic field on the moon itself.

5. Hollow Moon: The moon’s mean density is 3.34 gm/cm3 whereas the Earth’s is 5.5. What does this mean? In 1962, NASA scientist Dr. Gordon MacDonald stated, "If the astronomical data are deduced, it is found that the data require that the interior of the moon is more like a hollow than a homogeneous sphere." MIT’s Dr. Sean C. Solomon wrote,"the Lunar Orbiter experiments vastly improved our knowledge of the moon’s gravitational field... indicating the frightening possibility that the moon might be hollow." In Carl Sagan’s treatise, Intelligent Life in the Universe, the famous astronomer stated, "A natural satellite cannot be a hollow object."

6. Moon Echoes: On November 20, 1969, the Apollo 12 crew jettisoned the lunar module ascent stage causing it to crash onto the moon. The LM’s impact (about 40 miles from the Apollo 12 landing site) created an artificial moonquake with startling characteristics—the moon reverberated like a bell for more than an hour.

This phenomenon was repeated with Apollo 13 (intentionally commanding the third stage to impact the moon), with even more startling results. Seismic instruments recorded that the reverberations lasted for three hours and twenty minutes and traveled to a depth of twenty-five miles, leading to the conclusion that the moon has an unusually light—or even no—core.

7. Unusual Metals:
The moon’s crust is much harder than presumed. The maria is composed primarily illeminite, a mineral containing large amounts of titanium, the same metal used to fabricate the hulls of deep-diving submarines and the skin of the SR-71 "Blackbird". Uranium 236 and neptunium 237 (elements not found in nature on Earth) were discovered in lunar rocks, as were rustproof iron particles.

8. Moon Diameter: How does one explain the "coincidence" that the moon is just the right distance, coupled with just the right diameter, to completely cover the sun during an eclipse? Again, Isaac Asimov responds, "There is no astronomical reason why the moon and the sun should fit so well. It is the sheerest of coincidences, and only the Earth among all the planets is blessed in this fashion."

As outrageous as the Moon-Is-a-Spaceship Theory is, all of the above items are resolved if one assumes that the moon is a gigantic extraterrestrial craft, brought here eons ago by intelligent beings. This is the only theory that is supported by all of the data, and there are no data that contradicts this theory.
And which site have you subscribed to that keeps you updated on all this??
I have hundreds of theories posted on many websites across the internet including on YouTube too with almost a million hits! For starters, read my theories and images of the Moon, Mars and Cassini's images of Saturn where I have discovered what look like space craft in the rings of Saturn from Cassini's raw images.

Many of my discoveries have been posted by others on YouTube etc (Without my permission, and that sucks!) Here's one for starters:

saturnUFO2copy.jpg

Discovered from studying the raw data from Cassini.

So what does it look like to you? A moon of Saturn? Space debris? Or an alien spaceship?

Have a peek here to get an idea of one of my web pages on ThelivingMoon ...The Spaceships of Saturn

There's much more but that's enough for now!

Cheers!

Big bang never really made any sense to me but then now I know why it exists.
I must confess I didnt know about the steady state theory.
And so I hope your "half a brain cell" comment was not for me.
